It was great fun, basically in the normal games, if you got hit below your neck you were out.
There were 30 or so of us in our group, but for the last one they got all 150 people who were there that day into two teams, and into the smallest arena for a free-for-all :D For the first two minutes you couldn't be killed...
I got shot in the face SO many times LOL (I'm bloody glad of the face mask!) 1200 paintballs that day, not too bad (£70, but fun).

Little known fact about me - I used to run a paintball site at one point. Behemoth even worked there for a short while.
I still have my guns, in fact I got one of them up and working about a month back after 3 years of inaction. Still works like a dream. :)
I keep meaning to get back into the sport, I still know enough people in the industry for it to be relatively painless and I'm sure any teams who remember me would take me.

Paintball is very cool, especially when there is someone on the other side of the team who's been pissing you off for ages and his foot just happens to be poking out, where apon you unload 20 balls into his ankle and he is limping for two weeks .........

Paintball doesn't half hurt when you're shot from close range :p
I absolutely love the sport.
I have two guns, dependant on what role I'm playing in the game.
If I'm in an assault role I have a tricked up semi ('Mag) with a hairline trigger. I can get about 10 balls a second out of that (or I used to in my day) - ideal for storming bunkers.
If I'm in a support role, or there's a long time limit on the game, I have a customised Sterling STP with a barrel so long it's scary. The barrel was custom made, being both rifled and helixed and I can hit a gnat testicle at 100 metres. With that gun, I may only fire 12 shots in the entire game and take out half the enemy team.

And once (seperate occasion) I got shot in the left testicle. By a member of my own team. At point blank range (about 9 inches away). I just quietly folded up and lay down on the floor. She offered to kiss it better for me but that's no consolation. Being the PainGod that I am I continued playing the tourny - though I had to sit out that game whilst my eyeballs stopped bleeding.
PS - Bonker, can I have one of the nurses out of your golfbag - my foot's hurting me...
