Hey, my brother used to have a black MG metro turbo. It went like a rocket with only one person in it, but as soon as you added passengers it couldn't pull the skin off a rice-pudding. No torque whatsoever.Quote:

are you sure about the torgue thing. A 1.3 with a decent boost turbo can make a generous dose of torque, more so than HP. And being an 8 valver it would be low down too.

Yip, apparently the metro turbo only produced 87lb.-ft at 3600 rpm of torque (to put this into comparison my truck produces 350 lb.-ft of torque at 2500 rpm :rolleyes: )
No wonder it couldn't pull a fat bugger like me around :)

As for the truck, I know a car that's batter than that...A Bently Turbo something or other...850 lb/ft!!! Axle twisting!!

I read a review of it, it sounds like a mean machine.
