DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that according to Russian folklore it is unlucky to return to your house to retrieve something you forgot on your way out?
That would be why they have so many missing nukes then.:D

Hey all!
Yo Parksie. It's a bit dead here today. I'm off for a some pints. cyas
Why is it that Ritmitch can'r compile in VB5 CCE?
And what's CCE?
VB5 - speaks for itself.
CCE - Controlled Creation Edition
It's one step down from learning edition sort of like a shareware version, you can do stuff, but some functions are disabled. I can do almost everything with it except compile to a .exe file (.dll s are ok), use certain controls. So I can't use the Winsock OCX (which really p¡$$€$ me off because I'm interested in internet programming), or the Tab control as well as other stuff.
Basically, it's the cheap version they fob you off with when you buy a book. You think, "Ooh, this book says it comes with a version of VB5 on it, I'll buy that one, it's only £30!" Then you get it home and you discover you can do Jack sh*t useful with it. If I want to ompile I have to zip the project file and get someone else to compile it for me.:mad::mad::mad:
*Slides in and disrupts everything that is good with the post race force!*
HA!
Who's this then?Quote:
