How much do the birds like you've got cost to buy?
It depends. Gouldian Finches are £25 a pair, White Headed Nuns are £12 a pair, tame 'tiels can be up to £60 a bird! I tame my babies :) Untamed fetch a little less. Canaries can be anything from £5 a bird to £20! I'm not sure what the going rate for bengalese finches is atm, I haven't had any new stock for a while, or babies to sell. I need money to buy land, and to set up aviaries, and then there's the food. It'll take a few years before I'll see some real profit. I don't care how much I make or lose though, my birds are my life! Couldn't cope without them!

Not really :p Talking ones get a lot more, but the problem is, I get so attatched to them, I hate to let them go. It was bad enough when I sold Giraffe, and he was a little git. Boy could he bite! It's not really hard work, not once you're set up :) Not until the breeding season starts anyway.
