Ok, story time :)
At our school, they have... 4 computer rooms (win 95, P100s) and a library of Cel 1.2's (about.. 10 + 10 95s..)
Anyways, over the holidays, they've gone and reinstalled windows, and unlike last term, they haven't left the Folders where you can install stuff from so that you don't need the win 95 disk. (ie Notepad)
Anyways, they got rid of my chat program :(, and they got rid of the games.
Even though they blocked access to the control panel, we can still get into Add/Remove Programs by using Help. :)
And the worst part of all was that they deleted the games, and since they got rid of the folder, we couldn't reinstall them.
Anyway, I accepted defeat, and decieded that I would have to wait until the next lesson to bring them all in on disk.
But then, this little ****, told one of my friends that they had it in the folder(the games) (lol, about 5mb worth of stuff sitting in a folder, and the admin didn't even notice :))
So, then me and the little **** set about to install it all back on all the comps(just the one class room :)).
So, we managed to undo atleast 10-15 hours of the admins work in about 20 mins.
Definately a great victory. :)
The moral of this story?? Don't let idiots run your computer school network.

So in the end the Admin disabled explorer putting short cuts to office, etc in the Start Menu.
Can't you just go file surfing by opening up Word, and then going open??
Copy and paste stuff in there.....

Well, you should definately try to learn VB. Just start small, and complete a basic project. Thats what I'm doing, gunna get a few completed programs under my belt and then move onto something a little more difficult :)

Not too bad. Probably going to piss some people off because the washer cycle in the launderette takes 38 minutes. Due to arsing around with non-functioning washers, and then other people pushing in (bastards) I managed to get it all in at about 12:30. Unfortunately I have a lecture from 1 until 2, so it's going to end up being in there doing nothing for a while.

I'm doing a out of school networking class, anyways, were doing practice tests before the big final exam thing.
Anyways, we did ours about half way through the lesson, leaving about.. abit over an hour to kill..
So me and my friend when onto the schools intranet, and spotted the little counter... :D
By the end of that hour we had added 12,000 hits to the site :)
