I've been having getting here too, I've had to set the p/p to 20, and switch sigs off, it's a little faster now.

This is the step that fails when I schedule it. It runs find from my machine :(

as in going into sql agent, adding a new job and manuallly setting up each step :)
No, I was just running the entire package from the agent....it failed on the step I mentioned. I ran the step from my desktop and it ran beautifully! Should I reschedule the package or break the package into steps and then reschedule? Why would that make a difference? The code hasn't changed. :confused:
the only thing I can think of trying, is to make a new package from scratch on hte server instead of your desktop.

Ian, seriously, you are a young, intelligent man who has more than a little experience. You have no encumberances to hold you back. Your life can head in any direction you want at this point.
