I was wondering that since page 1, just didn't have the audacity to ask for the risk of it sounding like an insult.

"This is a re-times and do something meaningful in any way to translate any more until there is what happens" Google translate from "This is what happens when I re-translate something over and over until there is no possible way of it meaning anything."
" because of the failed attempt to win myself " Please explain further on this..
I'd have to agree with the previous posters. That's gotta be one of the most meaningless strings of words put forth anywhere outside of the Golden Chair. I haven't the first idea what you are talking about. Normally, I can guess, and I am quite tolerant of typos, but that was spelled ok, I think, it just wasn't the right words.
@ThEiMp: You bought a new VS2010 Pro Edition by taking a loan ?
You have done a big mistake !!
You should have spent that money to buy a better PC than your existing Pentium one. VS2010 would require atleast a better config to work flawlessly. Otherwise, there might be a little bit hanging or something.
See the system requirements for VS2010 Pro: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudi...m-requirements
As many of us have pointed out, the Express Edition is completely free. You could have get it freely downloaded directly from MS's site: See this page for products available for free download.... (or download the ISO of VS2010 Express Edition from here)
If you don't want the whole bundle of languages, you could only download the necessary languages.
Another thing is, Microsoft is also having another initiative called DreamSpark: https://www.dreamspark.com
They are providing some Pro products for completely free(for students and educators). I have got a copy of VS2008 Pro via this(with some other MS products too, in a DVD). You should have checked that too !!
Hope this will help you next time.
I must say if it's Yotamarker, the quality of the output seems to have improved a little. Now the number of posts making sense seems to have increased slightly in comparison with the number of posts not making sense.
Congrats on buying the latest VS 2010 Pro which you didn't need anyways and then installing it on a Pentium IV. You sure are from the stone age.
.
To be honest, I'd have said the same if I hadn't checked out the site and downloaded some of the products. If this is trolling it's some of the most heavily pre-engineered trolling I've ever seen.Quote:
I am convinced you are 100% taking the Michael.
I think it's probably just down to being Australian:p
edit> wait, how much is 5000 australian dollars worth in stirling? I didn't actually pick up on that before but that's a heeuuuuge amount isn't it?
edit2> Holy Hell! That would be close to 10 grand. 'Nuff Said.
Also, it could be Austrian rather than Australian. And you don't want to upset Austrians. That can lead to all sorts of trouble.
können Sie verstehen, was ich sage? wenn nicht, dann jetzt wissen Sie, wie alle diese Botschaften lesen, fühlt theImp
That was a sad google translate, If he is austrian, that is austrian german
Didn't he mention that he's from (or in) Perth? Unless there's a lesser known Perth in Austria, he's from or in Australia. But judging by his english, I'm inclined to say in rather than from.
Yes, He could be a millionaire that moved to Australia and programs for fun, hence why he is giving this program to Microsoft for free ;)
Yeah, but then you never know if he is really from/in Perth.
.
20 minutes i will never get back.......
Just be glad you haven't met Moti Barski yet. You'd need a lot more than 20 minutes.
EDIT: Herem just to give you a taste of what you're missing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEcPY...9&feature=plcp
Hey what is wrong???
I am from Perth, WA and also that I really did purchase the legaliszed format of Visual Studio .NET. However I was given Visual Studio 6.00 when my former company purchased it for their machines, which was about thirteen years ago!!
I'm surprised that you took out a loan to purchase software. That's a poor use of finance. Software is not an asset — it is just money down the drain. And even if you had the cash for VS2010, why not just use the free Express Editions until you find yourself needing the whole Visual Studio? And why $5k? The Professional release with an MSDN subscription is only $2k.
Also, as far as software goes, Visual Studio is a total pig — you're going to be spending half your life waiting for it. You should have spent $1k on a new machine instead just like akhileshbc said.
Oh well, I hope you're at least having fun doing whatever it is you're doing.
Visual Studio is $2k and then not $5k, because that was what I had paid for it. Well then that totally stinks, I was told that you would be paying alot more for it when you purchase it directly. Anyway I am working on the three dimentional lighting, shadows and then the Camera properties and then working them into the IDE. Also there is also pesudo code of the gravity property, also at work somewhere that I can then be able to see. However that is what we are working on and then will be able to work into the IDE, at some point in time...
You mean my code will defy gravity, have blinking red LEDs around the syntax errors and be able to take my photo when I discover the error?
.
Anxiously awaiting the Flux Capacitor add-in.
Wasn't Moti working on video capture stuff?
???
-- It has builtin physics, that works with gravity properties. That tell it's Cast Members, to work with it using those type of settings that you have used. Also those physics properties work in conjunction with collision detection, in itself is a type of mathematical equasion, therefore I have it builti in...
What the.....?????
Is this a game now ? I thought it was an IDE of some sort.
It is its own, as it has a mind of its own.
Well I am writing some sort of mathematic physics into the PictureBox, which in turn must be renamed to something more appropriate, in deed. Then that will be used for games, etc...
Here is the newly updated version of the Project Files, that I have been able to as for now write for this Thread...
That seems to be a WebBrowser, not an IDE that defies gravity and can make a decent cup of coffee.
Oh god my brain hurts from all the gymnastics it has to perform in this thread....A WebBrowser now ?
There is a cosmic convergence at work here. This thing has a mind of its own, it has some kind of video imaging with some kind of physics...it's Yotamarker II. As long as ThEiMp isn't setting out to date it, there is at least a bit of difference between the two, but then again....we haven't seen Moti around in some time, perhaps he succeeded.
Who or what is Yotamarker I let alone II, can I ask you that???
Somebody profile his posts and match it with Moti's, I think if I could spare the time and push myself to do it, I would get some useful insights.
Ah, my brain already hurts from the work pressures, and here I am going through this thread again!
.
looks like I was wrong.
This thread has picked up steam and you might still have a chance to beat Moti Barski.
Nobody knows who or what is Yotamarker, but read the AI thread and you can come up with a guess all your own.
Now I am totally confused, in deed. So then totally confused that I just woke up, and then still not being able to do my daily routine...
That'll be the barnacles.
Yeah, it must be the barnacles. Very scratchy, they are.
I once walked across an oyster bed. Not one cut.
Why the hell are we on this type of subject, instead of the OP???
You still haven't explained what you're getting at here, that is why. Every time we ask what you are doing, you upload a WebBrowser ( which is not a "new type of Single Language MSDN that I(you) am making for Microsoft !!" ). So whenever you're ready to tell me(everybody) exactly what you are getting at, in Americanized English or at least understandable English, we most likely will not take this thread seriously. From what I have collected, you are making a cross-breed of MSPaint and VB6, that also comes with a WebBrowser that is smaller than Internet Explorer( IE is default on all Windows Machines so the webbrowser is semi-completely-useless ). The cross-breed VBPaint6 also has some sort of gravity defying gaming platform built in too, and I guess it can make a cup of coffee too(not a good one though).
If I am wrong, please explain because I would love to know whats going on here.
I am going to define, a few times, "new type of Single Language MSDN" in REAL English for you: Standalone form of communication Microsoft Developer Network, Unmarried Speaking Microsoft Developer Network, Single Language Microsoft Developer Network. So, you want MSDN to only support one language? Let me know if any of those 3 make sense to you.
Now that I re-read what I just put, it really makes this thread seem like a troll thread, because none of what you are doing makes any sense, in any way.
Okay fine, I was using this Thread to release products that I have been able to write using the COM Technology. Which was a very small MSDN, a WebBrowser, which is called: QuickBrowser and then a programming language IDE, which is named: QuickDirector and also CodePad. Also I am working towards to ask Mircosoft to only have the one programming language, which is thus supported only by the MSDN of Visual Studio and then thus revert back to the Visual Basic standalone, instead of five IDEs, which do the samething, which is thus found inside the one package...
Here goes nothing...
1. "a very small MSDN" - can you tell us more about what it is, and what you think MSDN is?
2. Why does your IDE have two names?
3. Why would you only want one programming language?
4. Five IDEs? What do you mean by that? What five IDEs?
I think he meant to have a single code editor for all the languages. Like Notepad++.
I think, he is talking about Visual Basic 6, Visual C++ 6, Visual C# 6, etc. for which we have to open it separately unlike we do it in VS2008 or VS2010.
@ThEiMp: Your idea was already taken by MS. ;)
See the pic below:
Well, the express versions aren't like that yet. But to be honest, I prefer it that way.
??? What ??? You prefer to have multipuls of IDEs running on your system instead of a one fixed language. I guess that wouldn't be crash hot, because you wouldn't know which language wrote an ActiveX Control Object or a Dynamic Link Library File, at all...
PS: My Codepad application is just a demo program, it is just to estimate the code into how it will be able to work in the real runtime of the application, which is thus called: QuickDirector. However then there is the fact that QuickDirector is thus so big, that I cannot be able to use it all of the time to work out the code strcture therefore I thus created the following application to work with. Then add into the QuickDirector application the following source code that works right, then that is what I am doing, right about now even!!
I'll just reiterate my questions in hope of a direct answer just for the fun of it.

2. Why does your IDE have two names?

No, it wouldn't crash, because one of the amazing features of .NET is that all of the languages have a common language specification that ensures that all components work together seamlessly, regardless of what language the individual components were written in.
And there are no ActiveX controls, either.

Sorry, don't mind me.I'll just bump this one so i can read everything when i have time and need to relax, since Moti isn't posting da yodamarket comedy lab extravaganza anymore
I'm gonna actually reply to this thread (not sure if I have or not), but here we go.
You want a fixed language? Let's go back to Assembly. But then we would have to learn a different set of instructions for every chip out there which isn't very efficient, which originally was solved by C, which was then made even easier by higher languages...oh wait...you see where I'm going with this?
Also, what does ActiveX and DLL file "language" have to do with anything? Last I checked, all 'compiled' code goes to assembly anyway.
I...I'm going to try and understand this.
Okay, got it.Quote:
PS: My Codepad application is just a demo program
...kinda lost me at first, but then I was like, "Okay, so CodePad is a trimmed version of QuickDirector...I think."Quote:
it is just to estimate the code into how it will be able to work in the real runtime of the application, which is thus called: QuickDirector.
So you created a new IDE because the old one was too big? Um...okay.Quote:
QuickDirector is thus so big, that I cannot be able to use it all of the time to work out the code strcture therefore I thus created the following application to work with.
So now you're just copy-pasting code together that works...I think? I still fail to see what new ideas you're bringing to the table here, or anything that's going to further advance the programming industry. If I understand everything, you're wanting to bring us back to the VB6/ActiveX days, which are quite outdated with better, faster, and more stable technologies, just to have a "single, unified language". No thanks, I will kindly take C# or VB.net instead.Quote:
Then add into the QuickDirector application the following source code that works right, then that is what I am doing, right about now even!!
Also, you have yet to address web technologies that have their own languages, such as JavaScript, PHP, ASP.net, Ruby, Perl...the list goes on for that as well.
For anyone that got through this kind of long post, thanks. I am not being rude, just being pretty honest about this here, trolling or not. Thanks for reading, and have a nice day. :)
9 pages and I still don't know what this thread is about...no offense intended.
this thread.. wow.. is this the type of stuff I've been missing out on??
anti-gravity PictureBox controls and the most polished Web Browser I've ever seen! The screenshots are awesome.
I don't want to digress, but I think we collectively owe Moti an apology. He was perfectly clear about his goals and intentions, regardless of how well they were executed.
Sarcasm is one of the least understood forms of expression...
