Hmm... should I vote for timeshifter...
I don't think Arrow would allow it.Quote:

Here are the official votes for who voted for who:
Shaggy Hiker - Timeshifter
Oceanebelle - Bobalandi
Foxer - Bobalandi
Timeshifter - Bobalandi
Nemaroller - GarryMazzone
Mendhak - GarryMazzone
Kregg - Bobalandi
GaryMazzone - Timeshifter
Pino - Bobalandi (Invalid - No reason given for vote.)
Jamiex - Timeshifter
Bobalandi - Timeshifter
SevenHalo - Kregg
Abhijit - Bobalandi
Dclamp - Timeshifter
Space_Monkey - GaryMazzone
There is a tie between Bobalandi and Timeshifter. They are both killed. Bobalandi was a mafia goon. Timeshifter was the cop. The night phase has now begun. It will end tommorrow at 7:00 PM EDT GMT-4.
Bet you're kicking yourselves now.
Well I'm dead. At least I had the satisfaction of seeing timeshifter go.

What does the cop do?
Lawlessness prevails in the kingdom of VB Forums. Oops wrong thread.
The cop would have been able to ask me the role of one person durring the night phase. The role would be told only to him and not publically announced. It would have been up to him to decide whether or not to tell other people. Had the cop not died, the mafia could have also pretended to be the cop. Anyone can say they are whatever role they want, it is up to the real civilians to decide whether or not they are telling the truth.
Now that the cop is disclosed, I guess I can no longer pretend to be a cop. :)
Shaggy Hiker, Gary Mazzone, JamieX, Bobalandi, DClamp....
Hmm.
Oh... ok...
But he doesn't arrest any mafia, right?
.... ahhh... being dead... oh well...

If that is what a cop does, then there is no point because the mafia can impersonate a cop. Who knows if it was you or not?
In the end I voted for Bobalandi. He was mafia. You werent. For once, I actually agreed with you.
Tomorrow at 7PM at GMT-4.
For me that's 5PM. *shudder*
The mafia don't have to vote as a block to win. All they have to do is surgically place one or two votes to kill off someone they know isn't them. Two of them could have jumped on Timeshifter, or even just one.Quote:

The mafia have decided whom to kill, a nod to one of their hired henchmen. Meanwhile, a doctor picks up a phone to make a call which may save someone's life...
Now, was he being serious?Quote:

Better watch what you say at this point, I could get my goons to kill you off in this night phase, or cancel that call I made to protect you from the mafia.Quote:

If I am killed in the night phase, it makes no difference, but if I survive the night, and am not around during the next day phase, I at least want my vote counted. My reasoning is that Bobalandi was the most silent member of the game, and proved to be a goon. The next most silent is probably either Mendhak or Pino during the first day phase. However, Mendhak has been all over the board since Bobalandi was rubbed out for the crime of silence. He was a goon before, he's a goon now, and he'll probably be a goon in the next game, so I vote for him. His silence in the last day resembled the one silent, and now dead, mafia member. He sure changed his tune in a hurry.

By the way, AR let us down. Where were the gory details? How did those two die? Was it just a lynching? Did Timeshifter choke on a doughnut? Was Bobalandi mistaken for a cabbage patch doll? What's the story?
They were commanded to dig their own graves, then kneel in front of them. They were then both shot in the back of the head by the citizens and kicked into their graves.
Geeze!! What country are we citizens OF???
I want to bring something to everyone's attention. I know rules are rules and all, but we have to lay them out consistently at least.
In the last game, dclamp voted by simply saying 'sorry kregg...', without a reason, and his vote counted.
http://www.vbforums.com/showpost.php...8&postcount=24
Pino votes for Boblandi this game in the same manner, and his vote doesn't count for lack of a reason, resulting in a tie where Timeshifter (the cop) gets whacked as well.
Since everyone now knows Timeshifter's identity - it hardly seems possible to rectify this, other than have the Mafia vote automatically defaulted to Timeshifter, sparing a civilian.
That's my opinion anyway. And especially on the first round, reasons are rather flagrant anyway.
In the last game, I didn't enforce the reason policy. I am enforcing it this game and made a few other tweaks to the rules as well. Hence why there is, in giant letters, a message to players to read through the entire first post before doing anything.
For god sake's Pino! $@#$@#
How about this? From now on, if anyone doesn't give a reason, not only does their vote not count, they also get automatically disqualified at the end of the voting cycle. It's hard enough to keep tabs on vote counts, and then have to track back to each player and see if there were valid reasons.
Even though the doctor didn't save the victim - do we get to know who the doctor tended to?
you dont.
hmm killed 2 birds with one stone. nice :) lol. This game is going by slow... the other one was fast
The doctor can guard against a mafia stryke.
Against a raving lunatic civ lynch mob - the doctor is powerless.
the doctor doesnt save people in the day phase
I've been a bit busy recently!
Back in the game now!
You think you're going to die?Quote:

There's only one way to cure your hiccups... a gun to your head.

Goodnight, me off to sleep.
Any other guesses at this point from anyone? I thought TS was one yesterday and then found out he was the cop. And I voted for him big oops on my part I guess. Should have listened to him when he said we wanted him around.
Us mafia members have learned from the previous game. Although to be honest, it was a first time for us, so we were more blatant with our identities, but this time, based on those observations, we're doing better at mixing in. Such as right now, you can't even tell that I'm mafia. Well, some of you can.

anyways... mafia for me are:
Pino
DClamp
Space_Monkey
I almost succeeded in lynching off Pino, but the glory lasted only for 1 hour. so bad.
OK NOW off to sleep.. really really sleepy.
I'm going to concur with Shaggy on this next phase - why would any civilian pose as Mafia even out of jest? That's just asking for trouble.
As Mendhak wants to be seen as mafia - he either is a civilian who wants very badly to be eliminated from the game , or it is a very bad strategy to cover the fact he is mafia by skirting around who he is. I don't know how else to justify that approach.
You'll get your chance, we're still deciding whom to knock out in the night phase. :afrog:
Rest assured though, it is not you, nema. We want you to stick around a while.
The question is not am I going to be knocked out, rater when am I going to be knocked out.
Shoudn't this phase be over by now?
Not till 6 or 7 tonight. Now we all sit and wait to see who the mafia killed off.
But I'm at GMT time!!!
Actually, I already have both the doctor's savee and the mafia's target. But I enjoy watching you people wait.
Question --> is it ok to call arrrow_raider - silly monkey in this thread?
S_M = good monkey :(Quote:

If you're from Florida, you get to vote twice.
What are you talking about? You already know who dies.Quote:

Dies, implies you know who is going to die, present tense word used.
