first of all, cable sux. Second, dialup doesnt count as internet connection I guess. THIRD!!! damn stupid cable companies!! they get so much money with their stupid slow cables!!! what is this!! 40KB upload?! EE!!!! you need to have a T3 in these day to enjoy the internet (or maybe an OC:eek: )

I have cable (road runner from time warner) and I am EXTREEMLY unsatisfied with it. Not that the other companies are better, but I mean it's stupid! 40KB upload is slow, we are supposed to be living in the technology age or something I guess:D
Plus, the stupid thing is that it gets so slow sometimes, like right now it's SO slow. When I want to see a web page it shows the pictures on the page one by one, its the same on vbForums, it loads each avtar one by one! it's suppose to be a cable modem!
then you call and complain and nothing happens, eeee! they just want to eat your money:mad:

That might just be a typo I don't know the name of the connection. It's one of those high speed things;)

I admit that it might sound like overkill but you can do pretty nifty things with 3DSMax.

Or should I revert to Lightwave 6 ?

ahhh that is sooooo easy :D

3ds plain and simple (to be honest that is the only ver. i know how to use :) )

so... old 3DS for DOS still rules ;)

mine was rendered by a pal of mine... I had this windows font u know.... ah... its a long story :D

Used to work with both and I must say that it is just a question of ease of interface.

I've seen impressive samples from both LW and 3DS but my favourite to work with is still 3DS.
Somehow it seems easier to work with ;)

Why not learn from the tutorial. Thats how I learnt most of 3DS Max 3.1

Farsi and Arabic have the same alphabet, Farsi has 4 more characters. But the Arabic and Farsi aren't pronounced the same way. Arabic has toooooo much of accent :D

Woohoo, I've just remembered what my old avatars were.

When I first joined here in '99 (it was jelsoft running the show back then) I had a picture of Ogri with a pint, then it was just the pint for a while, then I had the rat & raven from the back cover of "The Hogfather" and then it was Kickstart, Ogri's dog.

On galahtech I've got a stryx screenshot as my avatar. Very cool indeed :cool:
