Democracy is effectively a shambles these days anyway,a s we are seeing with the Iraq situation.
Democracy is not a shambles if you think so then go and look at countries without it, the majority dont have good public transport, hospitals, education and many other things!! Democracy gives us these as we vote for those who promise to give us them (They often dont) but then if the dont we dont vote them back in, that is democracy my friend a choice. :D :D :D ;)
There is always hope (and one day people may not even live there :D :D :D ) isnt there??? :D :DQuote:
Ack, that's too simple. How do you know that Northern Ireland will be in peace on day? how do you know that Al-Quaeda want to destroy the whole of the western World. I would imagine they would be happy targetting countries that have unreasonable foreign policies...
Osama Bin Laden is known to have said he has declared war on America in the early 90's, America ignored it becuase he wasnt considered a threat until the mid 90's when his first attempt at destroying the towers failed.
What is so unreasonable about trying to prevent wars????? If
your so smart you do it!!!!
If nobody was their to cool the situation the middle east would probably be a nuclear contaminated graveyard by now, especially when Russia collapsed and nukes were on sale to anyone on the black market :( :( :(
Worrying isnt it??? I Think the evidence shown it pathetic and i would back him if he would show some evidence but i wont back him at the moment!!! Like you say though , as if we have a choice!!!  :mad:Quote:
We have an overwhelming majority of the UK population against war, (and this after the so called "conclusive" evidence promised by Blair/Bush), yet the PM looks like he will not hold any kind of productive debate.
Again i agree :D :D :D :DQuote:
AS I understood it, a majority of people would support war with UN mandate...Without, a majority would oppose it.
