www.crackmes.de
(it english so don`t worry :))
just spent a lil while totally cracking the out.exe one.
heres a.a (a.exe) the original program - decrypted
the text now can be changed to anything - just view it in a hex editor
enjoy :)
be patient... u will get your hands on that challenge too. What u have done here cant be done in the new challenge
LOL Saracen GOOD JOB!:D I was just waiting for when someone cracked that crap hehe.
The uncrackable has been cracked! See i told yah:D
I dont know why people dont understand (like Arc) that I put this post up so people could crack it exposing security flaws. By no means is my system complete... I appreciate people like saracen who are exposing cracks rather than attacking my claims. It is only secure if you help me to make it secure. Saracen exposed a flaw and I'm working on an anti crack which prevents memory dumps (or retrieving decrypted text from the memory).
Yash, i only said that because you were getting quite cocky before acting like no one could crack it.
I don't mean to get you down or anything:D i wish you good luck!
Lol. You did say it was "uncrackable" and you were getting cocky with it. Now I see you have reversed your position on this after it has been cracked. Anyways good luck in creating a truly unbreakable exe.Quote:

dont worry skald2k, its coming up - the truly uncrackable exe. The aim of my software was to stop a hacker from editing the run time procedures... try doing that... its impossible. As for editing data resources... we have come up with a solution
Yash Kumar, are you saying you can stop me getting the original code out of the memory - never thought that was possible
and we all have are cocky moments - otherwise i wouldnt have posted the FULL decrypted a.exe :D
and dont hope someone will crack his programs - he's doing this for programmers (like you!)
don`t think it is possibleQuote:

If you run the program it will be in the memory. If you can`t get that out of the memory how will the cpu do it ?
but we will see :D
I think the quickest and easiest way to stop crackers is to chop their fingers off :)... and their nose + tongue, or anything else they can push a button with
but then i suppose yash has made me a cracker... stupid challenge
i wonder if theres a crackers anonymous
im addicted :(
im bored.
why don`t make a generic unpacker ?
yes why don't i... oh i remember:cool:Quote:

Because i don't know what one is? :p
generic unpacker ?
....
Just make a program that will unpack (decrypt) all programs made by Yash_Kumar`s program
Get it ?

Yes dude. WHERE IS IT. I have been following this post for more than 2 weeks and just waiting for the Win9x version.
If it doesn't support you are losing almost 35-50% of consumers.

Betcha its not going to happen today.
:(
i just bet it aint gonna happen.
i've neva seen a security program do the same thing as yash's idea. First i though it was just unique, now i think it's because that idea dont work.
How do u manage to not put it in the memory?
How can the computer load it if nothing goes in the memory?
i believe he will have to work on a new idea, but dont listen to me :) - im 15 and dont know any programming languages ( :o )
got it, but.... im a crap programmer :)Quote:

the best i can come up with is:
Private Function Fu*kSideWays()
decrypt Now!
End Function
Private Sub Command1_Click()
On Error Learn Programming Language
Fu*kSideWays
End Sub
^^ im sure that wont work, or will it?
Does the program run on Windows ME & XP ?Quote:

Anyway I am comfortable with Windows 98 SE on my Intel 440 P II.
Many people still use Windows 95/98 on older machines like 386, 486, etc... especially in the less developed countries.
Whats taking so long???
Perhaps he encoded his project? And now he can't decode it?
Well, maybe next friday....
:(
Will We Ever Hear From Yash Kumar?
Tune In Next Friday to.... be annoyed once more, as the date gets pushed to the year of... mm.. when we dont care anymore.
Hey, Yash!
I see you're in chit chat, so...
Can you give us an update on how it's going?
-Lou
I was playing hide and seek. Now its my turn to find u!
Well, was a busy week. We hired some company to make our new websites, I talked to many companies about LockX too and some are interested in incorporating it into their software.. All in all, a very busy week. I also hired a guy to finish everything off. Now here's an update.
1) Win 9x supprt done
2) New hashing method used
3) New encryption method use
4) Data sources encypted (Sacaren did it this way)
5) LockX trialware used new anti cracking methods.
6) DBLock is almost done
Sacaren, you are wrong! we are using a totally new method! You don't realize it but u did something very simple. Once we encrypt the data sections we will be done. I need two more weeks to finish everything off and then we should be ready for BETA testing. Sacaren and all, please leave your email addresses here and I will send u an email when we are done. Now we will actually be giving a cash incentive to do it. Small for now - $100. You will have to agree to some terms though and you will have to leave your comments on our website if u couldn't crack (which u wont be to anyhow.. lol... now dont quote me).
One major development is the production of DBLock! It adds an extra layer of protection to the MS Access database.
OK PEOPLE! I will be revealing how our PE protector (SoftEncrypt) and MS Access protection (DBLock) works:
DBLock:
It basically encrypts the password section of MS Access. When loaded, a temporary driver boots up and acts as an interpretor! Cool, huh? 100% secure (dont quote me!)
SoftEncrypt:
Hey... u guys really think this is a dumb software. The secret is out. Please keep this to yourselfs. Although it wont help u to know how it works, i wouldn't like many people to know
What it does is encrypts the runtime sections of the exe and inserts some secret Windows procedures into it. Now when ran, it dumps it contents into a file named a.a which still has an encrypted runtime and data section. Now the secret win32 environment we created boots up and decrypts the runtime procedures on the fly in the memory. The Win32 environment we created executes each statement as Native code (line by line). We have added anti dumping protection which we will also keep secret. So if u dump the native code into an exe, it wont run! So basically you cant debug a.a because it is debugging itself line by line! Feel free to ask questions
Mmmm sounds quite advanced.
I am really interested in DBLock - If it works I have an application waiting for it!
I have Private Messaged my email to you Yash, Let me know when you are ready with the next challenge.
wicked, sounds neat.
lol, and yea i know i relized what i had done was simple, i didnt know before because i'd never done anything like it before, but i've learnt my lesson and wont keep loving myself the next time (not that i think there will be a next time)
so this is 100% un-crackable, for some reason, i actually believe you. good luck.
my email addy: [email protected]
erm... just a thought, the a.a << will that be the output file all the time, if so u might wanna think about changing it, because there would be an error if they run 2 completely diffent programs from the same folder usings ur un-crackable thingy :)
yeah.. that could be a problem.. so i guess we will generate a random name
well just put the same output name as the original program, like if it's out.exe then it would be out.a, that way would work as you cant have to file names that are the same in one folder.
hey sacaren.. do u have any good ideas on software protection
not with out getting paid
one thing Yash, its 'saracen' not 'sacaren'
that was ok to begin with but now its kinda getting to me
by the way my post above was a joke, i'll go away and think about it and if i have an idea ill post.
I can't really say any idea's at the moment, i will have to wait until i see your knew challenge, then i'll say my ideas if you havnt already got them and comment on how to make your product better. (which is already what im doing but hey...)
Sorry about that... i keep on releating u with a flying saucer... ok saracen.. I will be putting up a new challenge today... it would be the same challenge but made harder and would support 9x!
what do you mean the same challenge? the calculater thing - isn't that a bit risky as i have put up the decrypted version of that already, ppl might just send you that one again!
oh.... ok... I'll change it... don't worry... I'll put up the challenge at about 9pm EST (GMT - 5)
check out software cracker challenge #3:

Finally.... and this on works on Win 9x too :)
