Aaahh the return of the vomiting smiley :D:D
isn't it really cute ? ;)
Yep ;)
Looks a bit like me on school trips :D
I love that smiley!!! :D:p How is everyone today?
Pretty good - and yourself?
Tired. I did it again :( I didn't get asleep until 7.00 this morning, and didn't get up until 4 this afternoon :(. I've gotta see my doctor soon. Luckily (I think) he's my boyf's dad, so I'll see him soon.
7 AM? That's fairly bad even by my standards :(
Interesting...my gf's dad's a doctor as well (not mine though).
yah, i hope i can sort it out tho, cos i'm back in coll on tuesday :(
I just woke up and it's only 9pm :p
I can't think of anything more embarrasingQuote:

Worst Case Scenario: He is a gynecologist.

Nah, it's a nickname :D My real name is Vicky :) Ghost Ryder thought it suited me. It's Murdu or something like that, I can't remember what it means, u'll have to ask him

I'm aiming for Windows / Motif compatibility.
This rules out Linux unless they use Lesstif (free).
Nuffin much I'm bored :o
Will this only work if Xm is a subset of Windows or are you not looking for such a close interface mapping? (this may be dopey - with this flu I'm in a dopey-er than normal mode:(Quote:

Good morning friends, neighbors and everyone else!!!!! How are you all doing? :)
Sick as a dog but other than that ... well, basically sick as a dog :)
On the bright side I'll be home until Thursday.
Wahey ! *cough* *cough*
Poor baby!
http://www.vbforums.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=345901
Nice to get to stay home until Thursday, though. I hope you are not to sick to enjoy it!
Well, it's a sore throat really but I have my expenditures repaid for almost 90% (medication, doctors visit) ànd these four days are being paid as well :)
Four days at home, refunded and fully paid for being sick in bed; thank god for our health care system eh :D

That would definitely make me feel better!!!!!!!!!!
Well, it bloody well should ! I give (just like anyone else here) just about half my pay to keep our social security system going each month so if I'm sick it's only normal to get paid and refunded, don't you think ? :)
Absolutely!! Unfortunately with our government over here what is normal or fair is not usually done.
Well, it's the "Buck" rule in the US isn't it ? The more cash you've got, the better health care you can afford.
In the end it's the same. In the US it's private robbery, here it is state robbery :D ;)
When you come right down to it the medical system sucks everywhere from what I've read.
I KNEW YOU COULD SEE PAST THE PROPAGANDA!!!Quote:

THAT VULTURE CAME TA TRY AND STEAL YA NAME
BUT NOW YOU GOT A GUN
YEAH THIS IS FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE SUN!!
That's people for you I'm afraid. They want the best health care system for a minimum of cost, preferably free.
Or you choose for a state governed medical system in which each citizen pays his monthly "fee" or you choose for a private health care where the individual takes care of the costs.
I'd never thought I'd say this but given the choice it's only a question which one sucks the least. (this sounds verrrrry familiar   ;) :D )
Hi Katie - Happy New Year!Quote:

How are you?
Absolutely! Everyone seems to be crying out for tory level taxes and old labour level services, healthcare etc and can't quite see how it can't be that way!Quote:

All the Xm stuff is totally different - it's not even for Windows.Quote:

The idea is similar to wxWindows, but this one's intended to be template-based so it fits in with Bork a little easier.

Come on now Parksie! I know you wouldn't mind being locked in a closet with at least one teenager! ;):p
Ki Katie, Mike :)
I'm in my usual happy self. :) just that I've found out that I've now got to do a 15-20000 row data migration from access and Fox-pro into our spanking new SQL data base with the existing system having hardly any relationships in place. Gonna be a nightmare :)
