How goes the "W" word? Have you convinced them that you are the best thing next to sex and they have to keep you even if it's only for entertainment value yet????

Mike, ROTFLMFAO :D
Katie, thta has been the only mar on my mind on an otherwise lovely time. It's now got to the stage of not wether they want to keep me on (which I have been told they want to), but wether or not the company is going to survive the next couple of months. My C.V is being circulated more than the watergate tapes at the moment, so I'm remaining hopeful that something will turn up, I hope so anyway :)
You are not supposed to roll on the floor Ian....you're supposed to roll the ball on the floor....maybe that will help. Sorry to hear about your job sitch but I'm sure it will all turn out all right in the end! Keep your chin up!!!!!!:)
ahh, that's where I've been going wong. Bloody american games, so bloody complicated ;)
I am trying to keep my chin up and succeding for the most part, just it's quite a largething laying on my mind :)
:eek:Quote:

lol :D
katie, you never fail in bringing a smile to face :D
let me repay my grattitude :p
That tongue appears to be quite flexible now...
hehehe! I always say there's nothing like a little perversion to get your mind off your troubles!
it's a shame I haven't got a scanner as I got quite a few birthday cards from my mates that are very funny in a perverted sort of way :D
But seriously though, all though my work situation is at the formost of my mind at the moment and it troubling me, it does take a hell og alot more than that to get me down :)
Katie - nothing like getting into trouble to take your mind off being perverted :p
Ian - Hang in there :)
I'm Not going anywhere near them :eek:Quote:

Ian.....you're still just a pup......not as much as Parksie but I think you still have a way to go before you can claim the title of "well seasoned" ;)
And I've made a good start ;)Quote:

Katie - yes, well you've had many years of "simmering" with the occasional (okay, frequent) boiling :D
I feel about 60 at the moment ;)
Get some sleep at night, Ian.....does a world of good! I know Parksie said hang on to them but that doesn't mean you can let go to have a nap every now and again!!!!!!!!
*jealous*Quote:

Yeah, I normally do get good night sleep's, just that the bowling over ran last night :)
Chris, you little chia pet you, did you get your chia hedge pruned while on vacation??? I thought your avatar looked different.
I think it was the turkey that bowled you over not the other way round.
and on the note of my last post, I shall bid you all a good night :)

They make an interesting gift...
Do you mean to tell me that you don't have chia pets in the UK??? You poor deprived people. Now I understand :p ;)
no we don't have them.
"Just soak your chia pet in water, spread the seeds..."
Such a stupid idea and yet I bet the "inventor" has made millions.
was his name Mr. Chia?
or Mr. Pet?
perhaps he made millions, but then not all inventors make money. The inventor of the hovercraft didn't make a penny out of it.
I'm sure somebody is making money off them. They sell everywhere. You can't get away from the commercials if you tried.
tell me about it :rolleyes:Quote:

That and various ads for prescription drugs. I mean, what's with that?! Here you get what you're given. You don't walk into a doctors and say "I saw this ad for planex, can I have it"
It has to do with a private health care system instead of national heath care system I suppose.
I love the disclaimers about all the side-effects. Sounds much worse than any disease you could possibly have!!
Turning right on red. Now that is a good, if unnerving, idea.
yeah! some of them are really funny!!Quote:

may cause sexual-side effects (i like how they phrase that)
It would have to be left for you wouldn't it....I've never driven on the "wrong" side of the street so I'm not sure. ;) I think driivng a stick shift would be much trickier from the right side of the car too.
It would, but it wouldn't work here because our light-controlled junction layouts are hardly ever criss-cross pattern. In those situations we have roundabouts.
I think you'll find the left is the "correct" side to drive on - everyone else just had to be different :p :D
What's a stick shift? The one in the steering column (that's a crazy place to put it) or the one in the centre.
A manual transmission where you have to put in the clutch before putting it in gear......whether it's on the column or the center. The metro has a center stick....my old pickup truck had it on the steering column and it was a pain!!!!!
I think those roundabouts look quite tricky.......I'd love to try it sometime though!
ah I see. Not being funny but I think it is more natural and less mind-consuming to use your left hand to change gear.
Think about it: the clutch pedal is on the left. So if you use the right hand to change gear (aka LHD), you're using both sides of your brain, but if you use your left hand to change gear (aka RHD), you only use 1 side. Since driving is apparently one of the most mentally demanding things there is, anything that helps has to be a bonus.
Roundabouts are great, they're tricky to those not used to them, but they (supposedly) keep the traffic flowing. The idea is that if no one is blocking your path, you can go. With lights, even if nobody is there, you still have to wait if it's red.
I guess it's all what you are used to. I really like driving a manual and have no trouble.
automatics are okay if you're feeling lazy but manuals are more "pure" :)
Hi there everyone.
hellooooo
Hi there :p
Morning :schleepy:
Hello :o
I've done it again, i've got realy bad insomnia :( I'm exhausted.
I'm covering the office with flem
Been on the tiles all night?
a night out? I wish! I was up all night reading, cos i've got insomnia :( Stress i think it is, but i don't think i can cope with much more if this, i'm going insane
My wife has insomnia at the moment - she's on Nytol but it doesn't work
/slips on BG's snot
urrggggg....
eurgh :p
I find a good cure for insomnia is 5 pints of cider :p
No, seriously I have trouble sleeping sometimes, it's always because there are too many thoughts running around in my head. Don't go to bed until you're tired and just try to stop thinking, it might take a while but it works for me.
lol, thanks bonker, but i can't drink alcohol :( makes me v ill, if i'm lucky i can have a drop of wine at xmas, but thats it:(
The solution to that is Yoga. It clears your mind of crap and make you feel calm and collected. I has a similar effect to a joint, without being stoned...Quote:

oh, its minus 4 outside here today....
heheheh,
well I tried to change the avatar a while ago, but there was a protest thread started, so I had to reinstate it.
I now have half of the VB programmers in christendom thinking I look like this...
