Pretty Darn Slow at the moment and I've heard some bad news. One of my cousin's Boyfriend is in the trade and has been for quite some time. He gto laid off a couple of months ago and he's currently signing on as he can't find anything.:( I'm thinking of staying on with this company untill something good comes up. And as I have said I'm up in london fro msot of december so that will be a welcome change :)

They've been replacing the fire alarm system at my work for the past couple of weeks and it keeps going off.
Security forget to mention there's a fire test and no need to evacuate and then there's a massive stampede for the doors when it goes off.
Normally it's lashing it down at the time and I'm not at my desk, so no jacket. Standing in the pissing rain in a shirt is not recommended for good health.

A spankingly good morning to you all!
Just to give you your daily weather update for Calgary. It was a toasty -18C this morning, but the wind chill factor brough that down to -30C (no kidding!). I thought it would be a good idea to put my woolly hat on after I touched my hair (on my head :) ) and found out that it had frozen solid.... and I don't mean "it was like a little bit crinkly", I mean solid ice, icycles that you could snap in two. Pretty damn cold. It's cool though because the liquid covering your eyes starts to freeze and it's like looking through one of those star filters you used to see on top of the pops.
