Yep, WIN2K rocks.
Canon Multipass 5500C
The software that came on the CD was for win98 only, but it seemed to install fine... I found the printer didn't work, so I went to canon's website and downloaded the software for windows 2000, but when I try to install it, it says the software is already installed... so I go to add/remove programs, then I completely annhialate anything from canon, restart the computer, and try to reinstall, but the stupid **** still says that the software is installed...... I've checked the registry, tried deleting files, etc. but nothing works :mad::mad::mad:
It does always seem that when one thing upsets you everything starts to cascade, doesn't it. Just relax. I'm sure things will look better tomorrow. You're a smart kid and I know you'll be able to solve the computer problems....besides, it might take your mind off of other things to have a problem to work on!

I know it's no consolation when you are hurting this badly but life is unpleasant sometimes. You can either take what lessons there are to learn out of the situation and use them to your advantage in the next relationship or you can let them eat you up inside so that when another love comes along you miss it because you have turned into a bitter and unhappy person. I know it feels like the end of the world but it's not! If I had married the first person I thought I was in love with I would have missed out on so much!!! Everything works out in the end if you take the time to find the lessons that can be learned from each situation. Take it easy. You don't want to let your first experience be something that holds you back for the rest of your life.

What's really making those :mad: faces appear is the fact that almost none of my peripherals work on windows 2000... I get really REALLY moody when stuff doesn't work, and I paid $600 for the whole lot....
I've already had this conversation so many times... Maybe everybody(but me) is right, but as The Turtles said "I can't see me loving nobody but you for all my life, when you're with me baby the skies'll be blue, for all my life" I can't see me with anybody else, the first time I saw her, I just had this wierd feeling... Then as I got to know her a little more I found I was happy when I was near her(this was 3-4 years ago, in middle school, I was in like 1/2 of her classes), and the feeling started getting bigger(Anybody: Please, don't twist this around).... When I think about her, I'm happy, when I look at her picture, I'm happy, when I dream about her, I'm happy, and years ago, when I got to be near her, I was happy. Maybe this isn't true love, but if it isn't, I don't think I'll be able to handle the real thing....Quote:

That may be true.........and if it is, it will happen....you don't have to give up hope but if she sees you moping around when school starts you haven't got a prayer! You need to be the mature one who can still be her friend even if you feel she rejected you...she'll remember that much more favorably than if she sees you acting like it's the end of the world and you are unable to speak to her! she may be the next opportunity to come along if you don't close that door...and believe me it will be closed if she feels that she can't talk to you anymore without hurting you!Quote:

Although I have almost been in tears the entire time since last night, not a single person at my house has noticed anything is wrong..., But, by the time school starts, I should be over this incident.....
