Katie won't be pleased we've taken over

Just bought an electric pump, I've got bored of blowing up Dorris the inflatable sheep all the time :p ;)
Welcome back Katie (a bit belated :D ). Hows it going ;)?Quote:

A guess the F-22 is supposed to be 'stealthy' as well - with better avionics and visibility for the pilot (both allegedly poor on the MiG-29).
The old F-15 could turn 12gs but since the pilots blacked out at 7gs (or redout the other way up:mad: ) this caused a bit of a problem :p)Quote:

I'm sure I could manage more than that even without one of those cool little suits :D
o... sry thought that there was something wrong wit hit... thx considering it didn't take me all that long... i got some help from prog_tom w/ that site, but im currently designing my own that I hope will be a little better.... the MP3 player should be completely done by next month, if not before. It already has pitch control, i am working on a slider to show song position, and a repeat function to repeat it when it is over.Quote:

hi everyone top of the mornin to you all... no... you damned BRITS do not own this place... us americans do!! (figured id start a fight just for the hell of it)
I guess if you weigh ~70 Kg then 7g is about the weight of a Mini (~0.5 tonnes) resting on you ;) Disappointingly a g-suit only adds one-g to what you can take (say Katie and a PC in the mini) :)Quote:

I guess you are replying to my one and not the one above this:)
The main problem is that the acceleration either draws blood away from your brain (black-out) and your heart suddenly has to effectively pump the blood with a pressure head the equivalent of a couple of meters instead of 30 cm . .Quote:

OR if you are the other way up puts it it at too high a pressure (red-out)
If you are put on your back in a suitably shaped couch Mercury capsule style you can stay conscious up to 12G and apparently lift your whole hand to reachg the controls of the control your vehicle! The force has to be dorso-ventral and remain pretty much on-axis though.
The limit is supposed to be about 25g s - about the level that you can lift your finger at but nothing else (I guess to tell the centifuge operator what you think of him);) 25gs is about the same that you would experience in a 30mph car crash into a solid object
OK stop talkin maths & science. I had enough of that, I'm out of school for 8 weeks now, I don't expect lessons from u guys. All I wanna do is, sit back, relax, have a Stella, play CS and watch the occaisional porn vid.

Although another car isn't quite solid (it crumples), it was also 35 mph. And before you ask, the other nonce admitted 100% liabilty (not something you would do lightly), so no bangin' on about my bad driving!!
MUWAHAHAHAH ia nie!!! MUWAHAHAHA!! so tay awaya!!!!!!!!Quote:

Morning all! :) Been around for an hour and a half already but only just bothered to post here :D
I've been watching you!
 Sobered up yet? :p
I was never the pissed one :D
Although Si has turned up on MSN.... ;)
Yes i did, i crashed my pc last night too, and its all arsed up
the reason i was outa my head is some people were boxing with some nice ol' dope on the train :D *wobbly smile*
I guess the other guy's car moved backwards fairly sharply too once you made contact so your change on velocity was probably not so bad. There is (was) a nice bit on one of the TVR racing web sites recently where someone pranged their Griffith on the track which the internal accelerometer registed at 23g - the guy was complaining about having bruises on the inside of his eyelids (presumably from his eyeballs hitting them  )Quote:
