I'll have to look into the map display problems later. I'm not in a position to sort it out now.

Simon could you e-mail the maps to me.
I am off to Vienna again tomorrow until Thursday so could do with them pretty soonish so I can get my orders in.
I'm at work at the moment so I simply don't have them.
I can e-mail you the maps this evening if it's not too late and my host isn't already back up then.
If not, I'll extend the deadline as long as is necessary.

I know you insist on inspecting your troops in person but I really think you should learn to delegate to one of your generals... ;)

If want a job done properly ;)
I could get on this morning, so in preparation for any more downtime, here's the map for this round. :)

I replied as soon as I could Friday afternoon (after receiving your orders) and I also sent you a PM. And I only updated the map this morning (more than 24 hours after I sent a warning email).
However, given the actual events that occurred, even had you attacked with your fleet in Rumania (supported by the Austrian army in Serbia) you still would have been thwarted (since Turkey supported his unit in Bulgaria).
Granted, it is possible that you may have moved your army in the Ukraine to Sevastopol, but I would have thought that you'd have been more likely to move it to Rumania.
All in all, I don't think that much more damage has been inflicted than would have otherwise been the case even if you did change your orders.
Now's the time to diplome like you've never diplomed before...It's never too late to make friends.
I don't know if you have another e-mail address you can use to which you have access 7 days a week? If so, perhaps I can have it so that this problem can be avoided in the future. I'll make sure that I always wait at least 24 hours before proceeding with invalid orders.
Yes, now bugger off, unless you want the wrath of a combined euro-force to invade your homeland and pillage your pig farm!Quote:

OK, the map in the first thread is now working.
I will keep a map of the current state of play there permanently for easy reference...
Cool bananas. The English have submitted.
I'm awaiting a reponse from Simon to a couple of questions. I cannot make my play until I've got them. As soon as I know the answers, I shall make my move.
Errr....Can you remind me of them please?
Check your PM's... ;)
Simon,
Have you had chance to look at my questions yet?
I cannot make a move until they're answered.....
Thanks ;)
I have just answered them.
Don't worry, there's still several hours before the deadline. :)
Thankyou.
I shall send in my moves as soon as I've finished my planning.
How are the orders going? Who's holding out still?
That information is confidential...;)Quote:

I only disclose those who haven't sent in their orders after the deadline has elapsed...
Six hours to go yet.
Confidential, schmonfidential. Humph.
;)
This turn is going to be very interesting...
Simon,
*bleep* You have a new PM. :)
Yeah, I know...Quote:

You wouldn't believe how many PM's I've been bombarded with asking me complex diplomacy scenario questions!
What, three...? ;)
Well, that's what you're there for.... ;)
Still, we're all getting a grasp of the rules now. :)
Some people haven't got much time left on the board to get a grasp of the rules. ;)
Huh. Didn't want to play your stupid game anyway. :(

How do you know he's talking about you?Quote:

/hands Duncan's rattle back:)
Now now, he's got ample reason to complain.
He's going to have his homeland obliterated...
I'm looking forward to seeing how this turn plays out...:)
OK, board updated...
Read it and weep!
France has two retreats/disbands and Russia has one.
That fleet stank anyway. :p
Could I 'retreat' my tank to Bud please?
Eat this you smelly Austrians! Fell right into my trap! MWUHAHAHAHA!!!!! :D
OK, I'm just waiting on ID.
No probs. Not as bad as it could have been, but I'm pissed off with Germany for attempting the same thing when it failed last time.
Fool. Now he dies.
I warned you! Russian fool ;) :D
Awww... Let me get my violin out... :rolleyes:Quote:

In case anyone's interested, you can download the adjudicator program that I use from here.
You can use it to simulate complicated scenarios...

People,
As I've woke up this morning and someone appears to have stolen my spinal column, I haven't gone into work.
If anyone wishes to diplome with me from now until about tuesday (when I'm probably going to go back in) use [email protected]. Ta!
PS - if you've sent any eMails since the board updated then please forward them on to that address. Thanks. :)
Bastards. :(
;)
Arse :(
Should've helped me when I asked, Bonk - then neither of us would be in this mess. :)
Well, I have all the retreats in but I can't update the board 'till this evening.
Next phase will be the builds/disbands so if anyone is clever enough to work out how many they get, they can send me them right away and perhaps I'll have everybody's by this evening and will be able to update those as well.
By the way, please not that builds can only be built on one of your original three (or four in the case of Russia) supply centres.
Also note that Germany has to disband a unit...
