I briefly looked through it before leaving. They are comparing a P4 2.8GHz to an Athlon 2600+. Of course the P4 is going to look better, they are using a higher end P4 and a lower end Athlon to compare. They should have used a 2800+ vs P4 2.8GHz since they are both rated the same.Quote:

There's also one other little detail in that comparison: they used a poorer quality motherboard to test Athlon XP on. Even though both were made by VIA, the Athlon one had memory running at some 200 MHz.
I just want to way some facts:
AMD is the cheaper and better proccessor. It can multi-task alot better than the Intel. The only thing the intel has over AMD is that Intel has raw power but what is raw power good for if you cant multi-task with it. I mean who only uses one app at a time because I know that I definetly multi-task.
Hyperthreading was designed to multitask BETTER, You can multitask on an Intel cpu.Quote:
