Ah Yes Bonker. Been there.
Might I strongly recommend that you just install every bloody option on the Client side as it's sure to throw up some bloody meaningless error message that will cause you to phone Oracle and have some snivelling little rep say "well thats because you didn't install the exact version of SQL*Whatever into precisely the right directory, but make sure you install it before SQL*Thingy otherwise it won't work properly.", to which my response is usually "We paid you money for this sh*t?"
As you can see I'm not too fond of Oracle.
If it's the server side, accidently push the server onto the floor and kick it, screaming "work you useless peice of sh*t, work!!!"
Then prop it back up and select exactly the right disk from the 57 disks they have sent you.
Ahhh, I don't know about you but I feel better.
