Thanks I'll rely that info to my daughter.

Hurricanes have quieted down a bit. Early in the season, though. We've had a Beryl of fun, but nothing on the horizon at this point.
I saw a mallard with two fuzzy ducklings today. The reason that's noteworthy is that they should all have finished with nesting a long time back. I think everything generally hatches out in May, perhaps even early May.
Those ducklings were certainly aging well.

Yeet!
Went to order some stuff from Amazon UK today. Found that the minimum order value for free delivery is now £35. Ouch! Not that long ago the minimum value for free delivery was £20, then it went to £25 and now £35. When I first started to use Amazon way back when there was no minimum value for free delivery. There're trying to get every user to sign up to Prime which apart from the video service gives free next day delivery. I don't mind waiting a few days for free delivery but IMO this is bordering on extortion - get Prime or else!
That is what prime essentially is: prepaid shipping.
Gee, the threads in Chit-Chat are converging. The Post Race will assimilate all. BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
The National Anthem was sung a day ago at the Home Run Derby. I transcribed it exactly as performed:
I was gonna post a video of the performance, but I felt bad for the singer.Quote:
Ho, say can you see...
By the Don's early lie,
What so prow-hdly we hell...
By the twilight's lass gleam-hmm,
Hoop bripe stripes whom bripes star...,
Thru the perulous fife,
Oh the ramparts we wahs (asah),
Were so gallant-ly stream-hmm,
And the rockets red glare...
The bombs bursting iyn air...
Gave prue to the lice,
That our plag was still there......
Oh, say does dat Star-Spangled Banner-yeaht wehlyeeve...
Or the land of the free-he-e-e-e-eee,
Hanah ho-ome of the prave?
That song is a bit of a mess to begin with. We swiped the tune from an English drinking song, one of the notes can't be reached by the average human, and it commemorates a particularly stupid battle in a particularly stupid war. We have far better songs, written by Americans about broader, more national, subjects, and which can actually be sung by the average person.
On the other hand, the Star Spangled Banner has some epic failures. Perhaps a song that is easier to sing wouldn't have quite so many.
Meh... If I can pull it off with my sub-baritone voice it can't be that difficult. lol
Last winter I was invited to play both the US and Canadian national anthems on the chromatic harmonica at a hockey tournament and while Canada's may be easier to sing it's considerably more difficult on the chromatic harp. For what ever that's worth.
Can you imagine being the guy who didn't unit test his code, and it caused BSODs across the planet.

Did you know that your username is a punchline in the TV show Friends?
I had no idea but after a quick google search I like it even more!
3 days of no post in the post race. Tsk tsk.
