Erin is going to school for the summer about two hours drive from us. I think from now on, Tom's sticking close to home. They said about 4-6 weeks and it's been three. I think he just wanted to go see his little girl so bad he made a bad choice and over did it.


I understand we now have to stick to conversations about our health (I'm fine, thank you), the weather (It's a lovely day today 90 degrees so far).

Indeed! I myself do feel somewhat betrayed. If people had mentioned that they found the Chit-Chat posts (which ones??) offensive I would have been happy to tone them down. I've even told people to tone things down before and have never felt any animosity from doing so. I think someone could have afforded me the same courtesy!

I'm having a bad time right now already with my usually active and jovial husband turning introspective and sedentary with severe bouts of depression thrown in for good measure. This site was an island of delight in a turbulent sea.....it helped a lot. Even the discussions that got my back up were helpful....they made me think and that was great. I hope somehow we can get over this and sanity will reign.

Yeah, I hope so too!

The "report post" button is okay, but even if the moderators sent us a PM saying "hey, this post, someone (we don't know who) complained, can you cool it down a bit please?" I wouldn't mind.
