Yes that is true, but both permi and contract have plus ad minus sides. Take Gaffer for instance, he's been contracting for quite a few years now and he hires 4 prositutes a night, drinks more than the thames and still manges to afford to rent in the city-centre ;)Quote:

Glad to hear it! So far my Friday is going well. I made it to work on time. The coffee was hot and fresh and the internet seems to be behaving so far. The only thing that would make it better is if I wasn't here but was home in bed still but we can't have everything!

I think that your best bet is to search on yahoo.co.uk for agencies they just gave me a list of about 12 and I have been giving my CV's to jobs (contracts and perm) for the past 20 minutes.
Those sites aren't worth looking at at the moment, as Agents are looking to get CVs in, so make up jobs for that purpose.
There are hardly any jobs out there, but it won't be long berfore there are. Banks are making a lot of money on the money markets, and projects and budgets will have to be finished and spent, so I can imagine an upturn by the end of this year. Most contractors in the city are sitting tight until then...
I have already got quite a few angencies that have used me before, so I should be OK. I'm just looking at all my option's as it win't be untill christmas that I will have to decide :)
