I do not know to what incidents you're referring. Do you have a news story? Because it seems like searching a dwelling for weapons, bombs, etc. is a reasonable action to take during a war.

The state of Israel is treating the situation as a war, yes. And if you've ever seen the area bordering the West Bank and the Gaza strip, you'd understand what I mean. The fences are loaded with barbed wire and land mines. This is a very serious conflict that has been going on since 1948, and the Israeli people are sick of it.

You have to take into consideration the fact that thousands of Americans unnecessarily died, and when something like that happens, emotions tend to take over. Just give them a little space.
