Yep the Jewish religion is older than Islam. As my understanding goes, both consider the city of Jerusalem (which I can't spell either) to be holy. Palestine was given to the Jews.

So the UNs role was limited to relief.

How exactly did the government switch over? Did the Jews move into Israel and sort of out number everyone else in the elections, or did the Mandatory Government get dissolved under someone's orders in favor of the Law of Return?

I don't know what he's referring too. He doesn't have any facts he's just regurgitating whatever hatred and bile he is fed.....he doesn't want to listen to facts either.

I was pakistan when US attacked with these these missiles on both Pakistan and Afghanistan. it attacked on civilians in Pakistan ( as I know) and one of the villagers (from our village) lost his two legs during that attack. it was not near our village but still, i saw that guy who lost his legs and aftet that, I hate US and say that it is a terrorist

How do you know it was the US?

I'm not exactly sure how the transition came about in detail, I'll ask my mother later on today.


But the official Law of Return didn't surface until 1950. The Declaration of Independence of May 14, 1948 granted the right of return to the State for Jews.

Ah, this is Pakistan/Afganistan, not Isreal.

That is older than my memory. All I know if the USSR occupied Afganistan for the longest time. As to what the US did, I don't know. It was not a full scale mobilization if anything.

But you are wrong to think of the nation as a terrorist when you can't verify what that missile was, and most importantly, who fired it and why.

Yes. Patriots have a very small yeild warhead. I don't know the numbers, but I would imagine it is akin to a hand grenade. They don't really need more than that since their job is to intercept inbound surface-to-surface missiles.

But yes, the Patriots barely work. As of Desert Storm, their guidance systems were not fast/acurate enough to provide reliable results.

Above is a story i came up with. Any ******* can make something up about the Us or anyone for that matter. IF the US attacked Pakistan with balistic missiles, give a date, and exact facts. Not some some stupid so-called witness account.

you guys are funny. you go from one end of the spectrum to the other. who cares about religion, that fact is Saddaam signed a peace treating saying he won't build his army up and he will let inspectors in and now he is breaking that law, saying no to all of the above, so the UN says take care of it.

I did not have any interest in media or politics when America bombed Pakistan (that is what I heard but after reading some in the news, it talked about the blastic missiles)

I just heard that from the people in Pakistan (the villagers) that "America bombed on Pakistan and Afghanistan"

Surely if the US had dropped missiles in Pakistan then Pakistan would have gone mad and we'd have heard about it in the news?

Ya. In desert Storm, they did stop a few Skuds though. ANyways the point i was making is that Patriots arent surface-to-surface missiles. Abdul probably meant cruise missiles or something like that.

I missed that arguement. My only complaint there was we helped re-instate a Monarchy.

While I'm not completely agianst monarchies, it just bothers me to be in a nation that is so about democracy, but so willing to ignore that to save oil. Wait... so willing to ignore that to make money.

I would say we don't do enough in places like Yugoslavia, but I know that if we got involved it would be another Vietnam.

In anycase, Iraq deserved the whoopin' it got. :) I think we should've invaded, dissolved the government, and forced the people to reform it after we helped re-establish an infrastructure. I think once you have a sound economy and an educated populace, you reduce your chances of having a lunatic leader. But I'm just dreaming big now.

From where is the US getting money from OPEC and Iraq or Kuwait?

I'm 42....but anyway. Perhaps US oil companies are profiting from the alliance with oil producing nations, but believe me the US as a nation is not profiting....unless you mean in respect to not being gouged as badly by OPEC.

So...oil pipes go through Northern Iraq. What does that have to do with us getting trillions from oil? That's not a fact at all! We have not recieved any funds to profit by. Where are you getting this information?

Yes, there are US oil companies and employees in the Mid-East. And like Katie said, companies are not the nation. We have a free market and we can do that sort of thing. But I think most of our companies are based in Saudi Arabia.

Anyway, I think it more important to point out that the US Industrial Behemoth makes money producing cars, planes, flying people, delivering parcles by 10am, and dumping plastics all because we use oil with reckless abandon. We import most of our oil, which means we pay for it. And OPEC gets as much from us as they can.

But paying for oil is an operating expense. We turn a heavy profit from using oil. We go into the MidEast with guns to protect our profit margin, not because anyone in the MidEast is paying us billions or trillions of dollars.

Another note... every tanker we board and fine for smuggling oil out of Iraq, can cover that fine with the sell of that single ship. We are not (regretably) fining enough to discourage the operation.

Everyone doesnt know that Kovan. In fact you seem to be the only one. HOw exactly is the US getting money from OPEC? The western world is experiencing inflation because of the rising price of oil imposed by OPEC (it is a major reason, not the only one). This includes the US. The rising oil cost is costing the western economies billions not giving it to them.
