That was one of mine, too, but I've now gotten accustomed to it.
One virtue of the new position is navigation ease
-- a simple End, then PgUp gets you right there.

Or.... bookmark CC? No nothing needed.
It's one of my homepages :afrog:
Hurry up with those wave physics, Mr. Wave Theory!
Tell me... What are these bookmarks you speak of? I memorize all my favourite URL's. :(
I wish there was an easy way to see how many bookmarks I have... must be at least 80.
My new pet peeve:
Users who pronounce "ctrl" as "clear."
How exactly does one deduce clear from ctrl? Do they throw out the 't' and flip the 'r' and 'l'?
so does that make it: clear + alternate + delete for them?
I never knew Alt was short for alternate but I guess that makes sense. What else would it be. Can't think of anything else that would make sense.
Altar.
There are some really cool funtions that are only accessible if you sacrifice a goat on the key.
Strangely enough though, it is ctrl that parallels the apple/command key.
You're right, Apple keyboards do have the 'Alt' key that's called the option key. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Keyboard
People who can't get the pronunciation of "Gif" right. It's pronounced like "jif" not "gif". If the inventor says so and wishes to inflict a pun upon the world, then the inventor is right and you are wrong.
Then there's regex.
I have 3 new pet peeves.
1. Users that store important files they don't want to lose in the recycle bin/trash can.
2. Users that store important emails they don't want to lose in the deleted mail folder in outlook.
3. Users that take a screenshot of their screen, print it out, scan it, and email the scanned version.
Moar pet peeves pl0x!
Pet peeve:
Voicemail.
When your users delete the mail you sent them and then call up to request a copy of the mail that you sent them.
When I download a beta version (3.6) of firefox to discover it has killed most of my add ons.
When you find an addon listed in open source category, but are not able to find the source for the add on.
When people mix-up the term "setup" with the act "set up". Ie... "Watch me setup this computer."
1. All the bull s**t about 2012.
2. Incorrect spelling.
3. Being told I am inferior based on gender.
4. 99.9% of the populations' favorite words: "Me, My, Mine, and I".
5. Being lied to over and over again.
Other folks taking credit for my work. :) :)
Corollary: Other folks blaming me for their mistakes.
