how about killing mendhak next?
You fools! Don't vote for Pino! He's awesome!
Vote for timeshifter instead!
timeshifter
I've been Duct taped!!!
Mmmm mmm mm mmm mmmrh!
Wow, I go to a party, and two people get whacked while I'm away. Unfortunately, Pino has a name with which few things rhyme, so he's stuck with that lousy bean-o limmerick from early on. Not surprised to see him go, his name was getting bandied about a bit too much for his head to remain off the block for long. I would put the odds on Timeshifter or Mendhak as being the next one doomed.
As for Foxer, that was a surprise. He just wasn't generating enough news. Therefore, it's likely that he wasn't killed by the mafia at all, but rather by the media. They are kind of ruthless, you know.
The silent, shy, player named Foxer.
Who danced through the game like a boxer.
The goons thought it quaint
The way he did feint
From the game, he is now a detoxer.
Had to stretch for that last one. Good thing the Bionic Orange isn't still around.
There once was a VBF member called Shaggy Hiker
His grasp of poetry was even better than mine
The end
There once was a land where it never rained.
The end.

Cassino: Good.
Capucino: Not gonna use that one, either, it wouldn't work well, though not as bad a stretch as domino.
Bambino: Really wish I had thought of that one.
Apparently, I didn't try hard enough to rhyme Pino. I kept trying to turn him into some kind of alcoholic, black comedy. Kind of a pinot noire.
lol @ SH
I got a few theories about who's left but I can't talk about it as I'M DUCT TAPED.
oh - and dead too.
Looking at AR's list of who the angry mob have been executing in the day phase, it appears that there are 3 or 4 individuals who have been controlling the voting from the start. They are certainly the mafia members. Of course, if the mafia had been sensible, they would not all vote for the same person during the day phase, but the goons who are invovled in the game are certain not to have thought of such a strategy.
I am going to release an opinion. The civilians are terrible. Having played this on another forum where the mafia were trying much harder to trick the civilians, I can't understand how the mafia are doing so well. Although I know who is in the mafia, I can see that it should be really easy to determine who the mafia members are based on their posts.
The truth of the matter is, the game's over. How do I know this? Call it a gut instinct.
I think it got over when they killed kregg.

I am not really sure. My last game was 11 people and we are playing another round of the game again with 11. However, there are only 3 mafia members in that game and I think in retrospect, that is a better number for the mafia. Although with 12 peole that would be 9 good vs. 3 mafia which could be a little harsh for the mafia. But 8 good vs. 4 mafia seems to be a challenging for civilians.
I would think the more civilians there are, the more the mafia can hide amongst the civilians.Quote:

Now that there are no inactive members, VBF members actually have to think, which can prove challenging.Quote:

However, we have proven that with VBF, nobody is putting much thought into voting, but are voting off people because they don't talk, because they spam too much, or because it's fun to make them cry. In other words, they are too busy making statements to actually try to win. After all, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game. These folks are playing it like they were in HS voting for the prom queen.
 So true Shaggy Hiker.
So the Mafia wins when they have no more civilians to racketeer off of?
They can't be true Mafiaso then, their Business Philosophy is anti-profit!
The mafia wins when there are more mafia than civilians.
I will state for the record - I called out Timeshifter and Mendhak early on. The two of them were either so confident they'd win, or very clumsy hiding their identity.
And I'm really surprised how inactive people in the game were in voicing their arguments.
I don't think the game lasted long enough to really form an opinion. I'd only just reached the "hunch" stage.
I just hate it that I missed the original game. I had wanted to join, but my dsl at home was off for 2 weeks, I just got it back a few days ago.
To tell you the truth, I would have voted for Mendhak before the game even began. I don't know what he is, but there ain't no way he was ever going to be a civilian, and therefore the odds were 4 in 6 that he was mafia. Three-eyed punster frogs are more damaging to sanity than Bufo marinus (the secretions of which are one of the components for making Jamaican zombie powder).
And now that the game is over, the thread has devolved into the general taunting and trash talking about who should have voted for whom. So here's the poem to end it with:
The goons have won the game
AR's revealed their name.
Though it was fun
The game is done
Now who should get the blame?
Oh yeah, and one last person died, and it isn't the easiest of names unless it is pronounded Jamie X (I have no idea how else to pronounce it).
The player known as Jamie X
Who surely knew that he was next
Did shuffle off his mortal coil
When civvies did to him despoil
And round his corpse the goons did dance
And cheering, jeering, they did prance
For they had won the game so true
And now my rhyming task is through.
I vote Shaggy Hiker for next Goon boss
