I've noticed the difference myself, and I made the appropriate parties aware. They get all the complaints so I figured some good news was due. Besides, they need to know whatever they did is having an effect, so they don't reverse it.

Thanks JP.
my pleasure. I haven't seen any timeouts on any of our forums in days. I think maybe we can mark this one resolved? Or am I jumping the gun?
I havent been on much the past couple of days but the site has been back to normal and relatively fast :thumb:
Did they change something or ???
It would be my peasure (and it is!) to mark it as resolved. :thumb:
Things have been super all week long. The only hiccup I had was today, waiting for one of the ad servers to send its ad. Definitely something out of VBF's scope of influence.

I had a timeout/general slowdown yesterday from around 2:57pm to 3:03pm eastern. Other than that, it's been fine.
I concur. No issues at all to speak of.Quote:

I had a page hang a few minutes ago but after a couple of refreshes it was fine.
You had to go and say this didn't you? :DQuote:

I still think the page hangs are from the VBWire News feed. There are times when the vbwire news is unresponsive and causes the page to hang and when it finally lodss their is no news displayed. Kind of like having to wait for a timeout.
VBWire didn't slow me down but it did come up empty quite of few times recently (in past week or so).
I have noticed this as well.Quote:

Thanks for putting up with and conveying all our complaints though :thumb:
