I agree with szlamany about hobbyest/developer.
I used to be stuck with VB6, but I changed and wouldnt go back, its painful to work in. Anyways I just cant understand why people are using OLD technology, because thats what it is OLD. Only reason I can see is if you are supporting vb6 apps through work or whatever!
As for the guy who said he went to use vb6 from .Net :huh: thats like saying you started with winxp and went back to 3.1.
I'm not being rude here but if you are a young developer looking for a carreer path or an old developer looking for a change, 99% of the vb jobs out there in a few years will be .Net and not 6. Its simple,
.Net is the future VB6 is the past :)
