The overall thing to remember about the Reputation points is that they are not
for us. They are to help "other" members know the quality of a response they may
get from you. :)

well, I don't know how you are doing it. you are amassing points faster than I've even seen. Good work.
My secrete? No secrete:I am actually surprised that I have received so many. Its really really nice to be able to receive a comment
- Just taking the time to read the question so I can answer it correctly.
- Specific, to the point detailed answers that are easy to understand.
- Posting code examples or links where appropriate.
- Remembering that Reputation points are not for my benefit, but for the benefit of other members.
by someone that show they really do appreciate my help. Usually the Thank Yous by them at the end of the thread
made it worth it, but now Reputation points are like the icing on the cake.
I like cake! :thumb:
You said it :DQuote:

I agree, but I've never gotten 15 points overnight, even when i've helped 30 people in one day! I'm glad someone is rating posts. Hopefully everyone will shortly.
I gave Rob a postive and my power as an Admin is 10. Another person whose power is 5 also gave him a positve so that accounts for the mystery. Now please can we leave this thread alone except for questions about the process?
It seems like the same people ask for help and get help from the same people, yet they can't give out ratings. Maybe I can send the messages forward to get points from a moderator? I haven't gotten a point since the 6th!Quote:
the policy is flawed... I tried to rate you and the box said I had to "spread some reputation around" ...which is crap because you really did help...that had me stumped...lol really, tkx again!
No moderator or admin is going to respond positively to such a request.Quote:

Thanks, Woka! But who is this RobDog666 guy? :p
Wow, I have never been first at anything.
Edit: I have another Q on this.
Can we have some kind of listing of who we gave out Rep points to? It would help to know how many more reps I need
to give to be able to cover the spreads for members. Something similar to our Rep point detail listing.
Also, could we make the comment mandetory to fill in?
