The Gomez client...I said earlier that they may be uploading it and getting it to automatically associate their account with a new account it creates, but in fact, and even simpler explanation, would be that the Gomez client would log in under their account, so instead of being online 24hrs a day (just their PC), their account would tally all the hrs online from everybody's PC that it infected...and thus building up a huge amount of cash.
If you look at it that way then this is highly illegal. Who has the durasdiction to take legal action against them? Gomez? VBF? The internet police headed up my Mendhak, the drug fuelled frog, and PC_Madness, who would whinge if he was left out...:D Hahahaha Kidding ;)

I don't get it. Maybe I'm slow. Or maybe Snake is slow. If the idea is to post a trojan to hit a site to make you money, why would you ever ever post it on a software development site? With source code? Is it the expectation that you can say "I tricked all these programmer guys!"? I just don't understand. It doesn't make sense. He e-mailed me the goodies. Norton's didn't detect anything. I infected an isolated PC and ran adaware and spybot but they detected nothing as well.
I'll check every week for a while (after downloading new definitions) and see what happens.
