Does it work?
Search Code button didn't !!
the second throw error !
I found the problem !!
I had \CODE\mycode\ . Code folder was duplicated in mycode.:D
It's working now .Your program showed me the wrong path Thanx again :)
It's been solved Nicky . Sorry for this stupid mistake of mine !:o
one more thing , It would be great to highlight the matches in the richtextbox .
That's good that it's working now!:)
Just thought I'd pop this up again for those not familiar with it :D
I've been busy doing other stuff and haven't had time to do much to the program or browse the Forum, I hope everything's ok for V1.8 for everyone.
I'll try to do what I can when I can, but the program's pretty much where it should be now.
And thanks to ProgrammerJon for solving the problem when I wasn't around ;)
Now all you need to do is have the program grab the code snippets from the web... :)
Then we wouldn't need to update the packs...
I would believe 100% of programmers are connected to the net when they are building programs anyway..
perhaps...?
Do you mean like the program starting , checking for codepack updates and automatically downloading them?
I would be nice, but at the moment, the Codebook is on hold as I don't have VB on my machine anymore. My 60gb hard drive b*ggered up and I've gone back to my old 7gb which is packed to the gills and doesn't have room for VB.NET
When I can afford a new drive, i'll put VB back on then update VBCodebook.NET.
:D
I got an error when trying to execute the application. The CLR debugging error message says:
An exception 'System.typeInitializationException' occurred in Unknown Module.Additional information: the type initializer for "VBCodeBook.Module1" threw an exception.
The current codepack ver. installed is 7
Please Help me :(
I can't download more than 110 KB of the code.zip file, is there anything wrong?
Cheers
Howdy Folks!!
Yup, the RealNickyDude is back, new hard drive, new computer, new addition to the family (a baby girl) but things are settling down now and I have VB.NET Professional 2003 now installed.
Unfortunately the source for the VBCodeBook.NET has gone :( but I'll try to get back into it to develop it further, but don't hold your breath!
TTFN
Welcome back ;)

Nicky - you have a great idea - and let me know if I can contribute in any way.
I am currently downloading, and I will check out what you have.
:)
How can I submit some code samples for the CodeBook?
Glad you like it VBCrazyCoder. You Simply click on the graphic at the bottom of the program to launch an email in which you can add and your code!
Currently Love this program, on your web site you need to put which version it is :D so people dont download the same thing over and over and I can't send my code that I want to...
Laterz,
d3mon
The version numbers are in the download section and also in the title of the program. You can check the current version of the Codepack installed by selecting it from the Help menu.
