Or buy one for about 400 quid (+ another 600 quid for belt, sporran, brouges, jacket etc.)
It's been ages since I last wore my kilt... other than as a, um, favour for my wife... ;)
I'd imagine the the sporran was just right to hold the end of your tongue!
