Whilst I acknoledge Cornwall's distince culture and heritage (I lived there for five years), I do not think cultural or ethnic distinction is a basis for seperation.
Personally, I think Britain is enriched by it's cultural diversity.
Instead of looking for things that make us different, we should look for things that make us the same.

And now Sepp Blatter wants to stop the winners automatically qualifying for the next one. So England will have to qualify again (a little bit of optimism never did anyone any harm.)

Exactly. I personally pay far more in tax than I receive in services - in worse proportions than Cornwall. Taxation is all about the redistribution of wealth on a fairly arbitrary basis. Suck it up, Fried Egg. :rolleyes:Quote:

Well it's only fair to point out that, whilst Cornwall has recently been recognised as one of the poorests regions in the european union, wealth is apparently being redistributed out of cornwall.Quote:
