I'm chuffed as I received a 15 dollar (ggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr) money off voucher from Component Source and their catalogue in paper-form.

As long as he doesn't try to "steal" my daughter..or give her some false ID so she can buy him liquor...the Bush's are notorious for that type of behaviour you know.
Night all. I'm off to watch some quality British television programming....
:o:)
Apparently Jenna (spelling?) is dog ugly and as thick as too short planks, whilst the other, Barabara is porky and intelligent. So i'm reliably imformed anyway.
Is it just me? But does anyone else find the term liquor-out-let in the slightest way smutty and amusing?
All Canadians I point this out to have never noticed it before.....
SD
She's female and alive, so that fits my bill of acceptability...Quote:

... oh, yeah, and her grand-daughter Jenna is too :D
SD
Oh sorry, wrong barbara bush :)

Thinking that they can buy liquor with fake id when they are the president's daughters doesn't show much intelligence if you ask me....but it really has no bearing on old W's lack of ability to govern and the press really should just give it a rest....it's none of our business if his daughters are stupid.
You've already missed the best of tonight: Have I got News for you and They Think it's all over...Quote:

From Jenna's photo she's not too bad :) Anyway, if she's thick then all the better ;)
To be honest, it's very over the top. It'd be different if they were 15 years old or something, but they're 19. In any other country they would have been drinking for years. They can drive, join the army, get married, have kids, get a mortgage etc. They are adults.
SD
Too true SD, goes to show why americans are all light-weights! :D
Anyway, sod this for a game of soldiers, I'm orrrf.
Have a great weekend Chris,
See ya Monday,
SD
They really shouldn't break the law but it's not of the earth shattering porportions the press have made it....I for one always got my older friends to buy for me....still against the law but what kid hasn't done it???
Bye, Chris.:)
Cheers SD, you too ;)Quote:

I can't believe the cops even bothered charging them. When I were a lad they used to just kick us out of the pub and tell us not to come back. The certainly didn't arrest people. I'm sure there's a bit of a vendetta going on there from the cops point of view. Bush didn't refuse them a pay rise or anything did he?

I think they are being very careful not to give the preception that they are easier on the girls because of who they are....no matter who you are, the laws still apply to you....the cops are being blamed for what they did but believe me there would be another group howling even louder if the cops did nothing. The cops were definitely in a no win situation.Quote:

Police are always in a no-win situation, even here. Teachers aren't much better. Lots of people in public services like that always get it from all angles and there's very little they can do about it.
 My mum's a teacher and they're having real trouble getting through now, because everyone's trying to retire as soon as they can.
Yeah, I suppose you're right. I know the feeling as well. For instance tonight I'm going to be agonsiaing over "do I get drunk on beer or do I get drunk on wine?". Either way I'll be suffering tommorrow.
Actually the term should be "drunker'.
SD
Teachers definitely have a bad situation. What does your Mom teach, Parksie?
Must..... resist... saying... anything... about .... parksie's... mum .... teaching ... me..... the ..... facts ..... of ....life... must... resist... must... resist... must... resist... must... resist... must... resist... must... resistQuote:

LOL :D
She's a primary school teacher, so basically everything for 11-year-olds.
Tom's a teacher too...but he teaches moderately to severly handicapped elementary school children.
Just to join the club, my mum used to be a Primary school teacher until she retired.
My sister's a French, German and Italian teacher in high school, which is really strange 'cause I struggle with just English..... probably a different father or something.... now that I think about it, mum did mention that the milkman was a cunning-linguist.
On that note, I've got to go. Have great weekends all!
SD
Bye, SD....stay out of jail.
Bye!
I'm off to have a shower so I won't see you Katie until monday! Have a good weekend anyone I don't see again tonight!
Bye! See you on Monday!:)
He's back...but noone else seems to be :(
All together now!!Quote:
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found the sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
And our friends are all on board
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
As we live a life of ease
Everyone of us has all we need
Sky of blue and sea of green
In our yellow submarine.
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
Hmmmm...
Wierd. So's mine. She's a supply teacher though.:)Quote:

I'm quite pleased at being totally alert despite having 4hrs sleep (went to bed at 5am, got up at 9) :D
So how's it going?
It'll be the caffiene keeping you going. Had 10hrs sleep, but it is Sunday and I have an exam tomorrow so I think I can be excused for being lazy :)
An exam tomorrow? :( Mine's not until tuesday ;)
Still have to go in tomorrow afternoon for an extra lesson coz we haven't finished the Mechanics 3 syllabus yet
'friad so - a 3hr English exam (oh joy) :(
Good luck with the exam on Tuesday :)
AAAUUUAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
English??? Poor Pix :(
Mine's only Pure 4 and it's incredibly hard but I don't mind because it doesn't count towards my A-Level (no idea why I'm doing it, actually).
Erm okay then
As long as there's one decent essay title I should be okay. Trouble is the titles are unseen so they could be about anything
http://www.euphoria.force9.co.uk/rea...kes/examq.html
Yeah, it is confusing  I could have given up...but noooo.... why? why? WHY???
Don't talk to me about pure fricking maths. GRRRRRRRR. Back in the days of the old A-levels that blew chunks.Quote:

Exam season :(
Gudd Morning!
I'm as stiff as a board :o
TMI
:p I'm stiff from playing cricket.
I had been out injured for 3 weeks and I bowled 13 overs on Saturday and another 8 on Sunday
Oh okay ;) Very
So do y'all like Cricket then? I went to my little cousin's cricket match when I was down in Kent and was bored stiff!
Also, you'll be delighted to know that I have no exams this year!! :D
Good morning! How's everybody?
Fine! Into the last week of college...Then 4 months of summer holiday! :D
How's you? Nice weekend?
Hay, Avatars are back!
I played at Marcus Trescothick's old club, Kenysham yesterday, he's doing great for England :)
They were saying "He hasn't changed a bit, still a slogger" in the bar.
I feel the same as I did this morning :(
