Hey, Ian....how close are you to Oldham?
Sorry about the idea thread btw...I took a half day on Friday and yesterday was a holiday so I wasn't around to bring it down to the appropriate level of degeneration...I'll try harder today to make up for it!
I'm fine and dandy thank you pix, I've got the house to myself for the week which is very nice, Do what I want, when I want to, makes a pleasent change :)

It was very unsettling to hear about. I thought this nonsense was somewhat restricted to America. Very disheartening. I'm glad to hear you're far enough away to not be in danger though!!!
Unfortunatley it seems to happen all over the world and It really does piss me off that people just can't get along with each other any where. :mad: (how often do you see me using that smiley)
Also a couple of months ago, I was up in london when the anti-capatalist marches were going on - and I was told by the Client(in the financial section) I was having a meeting with to come in casual dress, just so that I wouldn't have the crap beaten out of me. :( as usual, it's the few that spoil everything for the many

I had to fly to Edmonton (a city a couple of hundred kilometres north of here) on the company jet for a meeting with my boss and a friggin' mini-hurricane hits the Lear-jet. Anyway we landed, and without a word of a lie, the co-pilot kissed the the dashboard and says "phew! That was a bit hairy wasn't it!".
I have never been happier to get on the ground in my life before.
So to answer the original question, I am real happy :D Life is good :D

back again. Just had a bit of a blow. Just visited one of my mates in hospital (only found out when i got home from work). some bloke started on him for no reason at the weekend and punched him in the eye with a Sovreign ring on. He might not be able to see in that eye again. WHAT **** IS UP WITH THE WORLD AT THE MOMENT :mad:

He said it all happened so quickly but he didn't think he knew him or why he did it, as Fecking usual with this lovely town that I live in, they don't usually have a reason.
Another thing is that I don't know if you remember but about a year ago, some guy tried to mug me. I used to know him from school and he was so pissed (I was stone sober for a change) that I managed to deal with him. He's just been sent down for 20 years as last summer he attacked a kid with a steal bar, the kid didn't know him and was jusy walking home from the carnival and was left in hospital with serious brain damage. He was only 15 for ****s sake and the bloke was 21. I'm sorry for my language but corpra; punishment should definatley be brought back in this country :(
The world is definitely becoming a frightening place. I wish we knew why or what we could do about it. I guess the best we can do is make sure that we do the right thing and hope that others will do the same.:(

nahh, don't have big parties anymore from past expieriences, too much to break un all, normally ends up with about 8 friend's, couple of crates of beer and loads of video's and stupid drinking games :)

Wow, thanks Katie, so I was. I got a bit confused by the erratic plot, so I went for lunch. But I'm back now and it seems to have stabilised a bit.
I can't think of anything to add to the "I'm so there" comment either. Maybe yesterdays trip on the vomit-comet has scared the wits out of me :(
