:confused: How does that work? Do you take classes for a term and then take the exams? The exams aren't part of the college course?
At my school we go on exam leave which basically means we don't have lessons while the exams go on, but we still have to look like school people when we go in for them.
Plus we have to turn up on the last day of term, having had about 3 weeks since the exams finished :mad: We'll all be too pissed to get anything useful done :D
Okay...I'm with you now. My kids have a week mid-term where they don't take any classes they take exams called oddly enough "mid-terms" then at the end of the year they have a week where they take their final exams. Finals are the second to the last week of school and then they screw around for a week before they are officially out for the summer. I hate it myself because Tom and the kids are at home asleep while I'm at work! NOT FAIR!!!!!:(

You're absolutely right and whining about it isn't going to change it since it happens every year about this time. I should just be happy for them that they get all that time off instead of feeling sorry for myself because I don't. Besides, the dinner, laundry and housekeeping always seem to be done when I come home during summer so I have nothing to complain about. So may be it is fair after all!

Yeah, my mum announced to me this evening that if I didn't have a job by the end of school she'd pay me for doing various items of housework: cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc.
I refused to do the ironing on the grounds that I'd probably burn everything :) I only know how to iron shirts :)
Well I'm off for a shower now, so I probably won't be back again.

Ou air conditioner in the celiing broke down on thrusday the day it got hot... And we have all servers running the small room next to us, so it got hot :( our air conditioner (when it works) will keep the room at the same tempreture all year round :)Quote:
