NOpe!
Wow, Katie's just wonderful ;)
I just like the Black Crows........but I am wonderful too! ;)
;)
Only 5 more weeks of my job to go.....please tell me programming as a profession isn't filled with crap that's been churned out by under-trained and under-motivated simpletons...
Much of the time it is.......but when you have your first project that you get to design and develop without any legacy code, it's so cool. You can sit back afterwards and bask in the glory of fully satisfied users.........unless they are like my users and they say "hey that's great, but I really think you need to use a different font, or change the colors or add a totally unrelated feature that only I will use!" Other than that...it's wonderful!
4 days and counting ! :)
Black Crowes are great, users are generally shite. The trick is showing them what they want to see, sod the code.
And, oh yeah, lie through the teeth. Tell them that it is impossible to implement their demands without commiting extra months of work and extra cash. Works every time ;)
Our users are mostly satisfied anyway, since the numbers that come out are right :) It's just things about maintainability - it's got a 3D model viewer, and then I had to implement a graph viewer.....nearly *EVERY* bit of code doing anything graphical had no conception there might be more than one view of the same data :rolleyes:Quote:

Aaaaanyway...
Vicky - Happened to me as well, I got over it :)
Wally - Half the time they don't use it, they just ask me to run the job 'cuz they know I'll get it done far faster than they will, because nobody would ever read a 139-page manual that actually *described* the product
:o

I beg your pardon!:o
For god's sake Ian! That stinks! Someone open a windowQuote:

Have you worked out all of the bodily functions now Ian? How 'bout a sneeze next?
Rain suits that "breathe" enable campers to stay dry in a downpour. Rain suits that sneeze, cough, and belch, however, have been proven to add absolutely nothing to the wilderness experience :)
Good evening all
Is Ian a rainsuit, Parksie?
Well, if you wear his skin, then yes :)Quote:

You'd probably need a heavy-duty canopener though...
I might go to bed soon, actually, got into work at 10:15 this morning
