OOO is Oscuros Oblivion, a mod set that greatly improved on the basic game by adding more monsters, more armor, and more other things. It also changed the economy, leveling, and encounter tables. It became possible to encounter top level monsters at level 1, so there were places you simply couldn't go, but you also kept meeting the low level monsters once you got tough enough to slaughter them with ease. Another neat thing was that treasure in locked chests became MUCH better, such that I picked up silver weapons by picking a medium lock at level 2. That made lock picking far more valuable, as you might pick up top level equipment at basic levels, which could be good, because another change removed the idiotic way that opponents would level their armor along with you. Lowly bandits wearing full glass? No more. Bandits never got better than fur or iron. One thing that meant was that getting a full suit of glass armor was really hard to do, as only a handful of the toughest foes had even a single piece of it.
I liked the vanilla Oblivion, but OOO was so much better in gameplay balance and interest that I wouldn't suggest anybody bother with the vanilla anymore.
