I was bullied at highschool due to anti-social tendancies, but I always managed to talk my way out of getting beaten up.
Being thin, weak and wearing a slight knowing smile while they're trying to make you fight generally stops people from picking on you because they don't know why you're smiling.
Your lucky she didn't commit suicide, cause she'd be dead by now. You only a 18 months late.
The best way to get rid of temptation is to give in to it.. in this case, rather permanently.

I was bullied quite badly when I was at school, including by the teachers on more than one occasion. The worst aspect of it was that once I left school I developed a huge chip on my shoulder and would fight anyone at the drop of a hat. The trouble is that most people don't pick fights they can't win so I always ended up laying into guys twice my size or in large groups - I spent alot of time getting stitched up in hospitals. It took until my twenties before I finally started to mellow out. I'm not proud of that.
edit> to those who say 'everyone get's bullied' there are different levels of bullying. Everyone get's picked on from time to time, sure. But when you're the class victim for five years the feelings of isolation tend to grow a little.
