Windows ME is the best OS ever!!!

Sorry about that, I just came over all strange.
XP Pro is the best, in my opinion.

Perhaps you mean a Linux box used as a router?
In that case yes! I've posted a link to a linux routing script on here before!
If ya cant find it let me know!
b :)
win2k for about a year now :)
Do a google for FreeSCO - it's a tiny Linux distro that can easily be set up as a router. Fits on and runs off a floppy.
I keep my XP Pro work PC on all the time, and no problems for months now.
anyone think they will make a Windows XP SE (second edition) or leave it alone
Probably release SP's.Quote:

I think the focus is now onto .NET.
Can anyone tell me what XP stands for?

Is there any apps at all to this ***BSD??? Just wondering...
BTW nice uptime Parksie. :D
Pretty much any POSIX-compliant program will run on the BSD variants.
Oh, and yeah, I didn't get round to moving the tuxtime program over to my OpenBSD setup when I moved from GNU/Linux.
Visual Studio 2003 actually :pQuote:

In beta at the moment, and due for release soon.
Windoz 2000 Pro works for me.:D
98SE was a good OS also. You can get a free upgrade to ME form M$, download crashalotmore.dll and put it in your windows directory.;)
:rolleyes:Quote:

Mandrake 9.0 all the way :)
Hey, when did my Tuxtime come back. And what's it giving a number from? O.o
Anyway, I've sadly had to move back to Windows, against my better judgement. Driver support and software compatibility are, at the moment, more important, unfortunately. I wish I didn't have to do it, but I do.
However, I get the benefits, by having Debian inside vmware, with direct access to my unix partitions. Add some Samba nonsense, and *bing* my home directory is available :D
Linux Mandrake 9.0 or Redhat Linux 8.0.
Both GR8 OS's.
I like XP Pro though... It's been running for 8 months without any major problems. I'll be getting .NET when I see some major improvement in the code.
Regards,
Paul.
