Hey!!!! By going between two installation copies a few times, it finally got upset with me and asked me what options I wanted. I eliminated the two documented image issues, even though it said it wouldn't run.
It seems to work well. Now I am searching for the SP. I have an old service pack copy but it upset that I am not installing it from the same location; I dunno. I need a fresh copy. I'll keep looking.

that's impractical in some cases. We build for windows server but don't have any local machines running it. You really just need to make sure that MSBuild can compile your program on the other machine. Of course that's .net but the reasoning is the same.

The Wayback Machine has SP6 archived. See the posts from the following thread:

axtools is crashing the IDE from time to time .... and is this happening to you?
Re: Does VB6 work in Windows 11? YES
Microsoft apparently canning P2P Win32 services on Windows 11 23H2

For those of you who are more experienced, will this change anything in VB6?
Re: Does VB6 work in Windows 11? YES
vb6 IDE and the development of software adhere to 25 years, really not easy, perhaps Microsoft's heart still retains the love of VB6, after all, he is Bill's first wife. Although he still has many lovers, Bill is old, but he will never want to force VB6 to run on WINDOWS.
If one day Indians buy Microsoft or completely take over the leadership, will they do a lot of damage to VB6,VB.NET and other users?
