It looks like you spoke too soon. It's drifting back toward the gutter again! I'm gonna have to try and stop it..Quote:

So, Spetnik, How's Opera?
Why the heck you need to waste your time by posting silly comments...
no... its bad when a single thread i post in does not stay in the gutter once it gets there
hmm, bad and good. It doesn't completely support IE's DOM, but it does better than Netscape in that aspect. The MDI functionality is cool. It doesn't support the Ctrl-Enter in the address bar like IE does. Still tryin it out. Also, when u hilight, u cannot hilight pics. Will keep on tryin it out. Meanwhile, still using IE :)Quote:

well, I was going to download opera, but I'd rather use IE for free than pay $40
Spetnick: Were are you from? I haven't heard of anything like that here in Portugal (only real paintball and all) ;)
PsychoMark: Your "solution" was posted by me about 3 replies above yours...
D*mn, looks like I missed all the fun :)
Is anyone online here right now?
I am from the US. The first time I saw LaserTag, I think I was around 12. That was 8 years ago.Quote:

51:p
52 :D (from a lack of anything better to do)
If John moves this to chit-chat, does our post count go down?
I don't really know..
I doubt it, but it is possible..
Back on track for now:
Well, I did show you a program that shows a maximized window and a normal window at the same time in an mdi parent window. So now you know it's possible, though it may not be too easy.
Yeah, well I convinced my manager to let me switch to SDI :D
NOW, BACK 2 THE GUTTER!!!
not the gutter!!
(Maybe I should've thrown in a long "no" with lots of o's?)
finally back to the gutter.. and yes our post count will go down... so we may have to pretend to do something useful :(
Pretend to do something useful? Does that mean we get to go back out of the gutter, or are we just gonna make it look like we're not in the gutter? And if we choose to just make it look like we're out of the gutter, how're we gonna pull it off? That did make sense, right?
ummm.... no made no sense at allQuote:

wait a second, what is the gutter?
Is the gutter when the thread dissapears into the mist with the other forgotten threads? Or is it when the thread just goes off-topic? I always thought it was the second..
yes it is the second... used to up peoples post counts quickly and easily (till john notices at least)
okay, so are we gonna pretend to do something useful? If we do, what're we gonna do? How are we gonna do it? If we don't, will our postcounts drop as the thrad gets moved, or will we keep the credit for the posts? Time will tell...
I think I may be experiencing boredom
our postcounts will go down if the thread is moved :(:( oh well... we don't need to pretend to do something, maybe john will be nice and let us keep our post-counts
How do you know they'll go down? I don't think they will..
well i don't know, but any thread in the chit-chat forum has it so the posts don't up your post count, so if it gets moved theoretically we lose posts!!
Or maybe any new posts to the thread just don't get added onto the postcount.
dunno could be
well, its 2:36, and i promised id let my sister go on sometime this morning, so im out. good night all, and all pray for Parksie's throbbing member to return :D :D :D:D
Cool, you're in my time zone!
seems like this post is the most fav.
seems like this post lost its point a while ago
yeah, I think it did..
DUH!!!! any thread i post in eventually has to hit the gutter, look at http://forums.vb-world.net/showthrea...hlight=napsterQuote:

All right, so let's get to the point:
- Should we kill MS or not? :D
hey... no going back to the point, that should never ever happen... yes we should kill gates, and the forum is finally back up.
Technically, discussing whether or not to kill MS is not going back to the point, because the original point was MDI forms. Instead, it's going right to the point. :DQuote:

oh... sry im mad tired, but im determined to stay up a full 48 hours (practice for becoming a programmer)
I take it that i am late here. Thank you tygur for that line. Well i read part of the start of this thread and i was reading a .net book that one of the admins got from techEd2001. ( Introducing .net) and there was a quote in there. The book is at work so i do not remember the guy. Here is the quote.
It does not matter what the network guys do. The software guys will always piss it away.
Well i thought that was cute and i think that microsoft and intel have done just that. Just a little more organized.
Well, then MS should buy Intel... or the other way around :D
I actually dont think we would, if u think about it. The way it prob works is that each time s/o posts in general, it ups the count. Because otherwise, every time it displays a postcount, it would hafta go and count alll the posts and that wouldn't make sense.
