Good dreams, what kind of portuguese are you that dont like football? all portuguese like football...who doesn´t ???...
Heard about it, but missed it. I love that freaky comedy ****. League of Gentlemen makes me laugh out really hard...
That's a mistake. Not all the portuguese like football. I'm one of them. I can give you a list of gimn teachers who don't like football. It's wrong to consider "liking fooball" a condition to be portuguese or not.Quote:

"pano et circus" ever heard this? It's what a country need in order to its people be submissive. The portuguese government would be more rational if it invested more on education (which was and still is MISRABLE), health, research (which portugal doesn't know the meaning yet) and other stuff, instead of spending 90% of the taxes in football related businesses. Every time I hear large amounts of cash in the news, I always listen the word "football" very near.
Maybe this is more clear than the asterisks.
Does anyone like Termoman?
I think you mean gym teachers ;)Quote:

It was even better on the radio!
(it used to be on Radio 4)
I seem to remember I said the same about "Goodness Gracious Me" in another thread.

I got tosay that Seinfeld, Frasier, L of Gentlemen, and Spaced still rule the roost at chez Gaffer.
Oi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough of the pommie humour shows here. Am feeling left out, cause our friggin right wing dickhead government slashed the ABC budget, and now we just get re-runs of Faulty Towers. Funny the first few times, crap after twenty showings.
Fawlty Towers rules. I can't beleive you guys get so many of our comedies! What's going on?
It's called having BBC America on our satellites, Chris.
You lucky bastards
:D
He said "re-runs on ABC" which is the australian terrestial channel. Nothing to do with the BBC.
So what's this BBC America all about? Do you get fawlty towers, red dwarf and Men behaving badly too? Blimey. Surely they do american stuff.
BBC America only does BBC shows....duh:rolleyes:
oohhh handbags!! Who's in a bad mood then?
Australian Broadcasting Network. Only show Oz and Brit shows. Get "The Bill" twice a week, it rocks.Quote:

Of course you can always switch over to the SBS for some porn on a friday night pretending it's art.

It went very well!
Their performance of "Free Bird" was amazing! Ian ended up singing instead of the g/f (she just shook a tamborine and looked pretty). The piano sounded awesome(he is soooo talented) and the guitarist blew the rafters off the theatre! He bought lighters for the entire class so when they started singing they all lit them like they were at a rock concert.
Each kid took a golf ball up with them and left it in the Principal's hand when he shook hands and gave them their diplomas. After 90 kids he kept having to hitch his pants up because they were so full of golf balls. Then the last kids presented him with a new golf bag as a present.
When Ian walked across the stage to get his dimploma I cried like a baby. I tried not to but I couldn't help it. Afterwards, Ian came up to me and gave me the biggest bear hug I've ever had and told me he loved me.
Life is good!
Well there ya go. We're not so bad are we?
That's damn sweet though :)
Nope...not bad at all!:D
This one's escaping the gutter. Excuse me while l wipe my eyes. That was just so sweet.Quote:

It wouldn't surprise me if he did get laid...he's one cute kid:p
He came home while I was at work and was asleep when I came home so I don't know if he drank too much but I'd say its a safe bet that he did. (don't tell anyone since he's not 21 yet)
