I don't know Monty Don personally but I know who he is and I'm sure he's a nice bloke in person.
He doesn't fool me though, he left school with no qualifications (I read that somewhere - I maybe wrong) and talks with an awfully posh voice but makes basic grammatical errors in his speach.
