Re: The State of VBForums
Careful Roman, some people 'round here might think you're living a rich fantasy life ;)
-
Re: The State of VBForums
I was thinking that a woman who used to work at the convenience store down the road but doesn't anymore does not count as an "ex."

Re: The State of VBForums
I need to get one of those rich lives myself, fantasy or otherwise. Too much time on the forums lately.
-
Re: The State of VBForums
Ain't missing much. Grass seeming greener and all that. At least here you can fix bugs but when your fantasies glitch out you can't fix those bugs. You can only switch to another and hope its an upgrade but usually its just a competing model hence it always has its own set of bugs, hell, sometimes even the same bugs.

It's as though the moderators moderate moderation.

You know, that was moderately funny.

Am I late to the party? Some post about Norwegians walking their fish got me here...
So what's up people?

Re: The State of VBForums
Wow old timers are just crawling out of the woodworks now.

Re: The State of VBForums
Somebody go kidnap NoteMe! Well undo his blindfold later as soon as we drag him to the party kicking and screaming.

Unless I'm DDOSing government websites or something, no one is going through the trouble of contacting my ISP to find out where I've been on the internet or who I am.

Re: The State of VBForums
Wow, nostalgia is just like having people around.

Re: The State of VBForums
Do you even count? While your join date is pre-historic, you've certainly been around plenty.
-
Re: The State of VBForums
Haven't been active as I've been a couple of years ago.
I'm still trying to "pay back" what I have learned from all of you.
I still like to have a short (more or less) look into CC, my responses however can't keep up with all of you native speakers.

Lol, that's nothing....This guy is pre-historic. His join date isn't even in this century!

Re: The State of VBForums
Wow, I didn't even think any went back that far. I thought all those accounts were lost in the Great Crash, which was before my time, but people were still sobbing, mopping about, and spamming grief counselors by the time I signed up.

Re: The State of VBForums
I still remember we had monthly themes for the avatars (hence the pirate in mine).

Who would do such a thing
-
Re: The State of VBForums
Actually I was thinking about using my winter-avatar again, just because of the actual weather (cold, snow .....)
-
Re: The State of VBForums
@dclamp:
Looking at your location and the actual time of day, you probably can't see any snow.
-
Re: The State of VBForums
Living in Southern California, 20 minutes from the beach... no snow :(. 1.5 hour drive to the mountains and I can get some snow!
-
Re: The State of VBForums
Totally wrong smily, it should look like "..no snow :D".
Your day should be over by now, I'm already at work (the next day)

haha that is true! I am glad I dont have to deal with snow. I guess its nice that i can at least drive to see it.
And yes, Its 0121 here. I am nocturnal, so i will be up until like 0600 :(
-
Re: The State of VBForums
I wish I was as nocturnal as you are so I can stay up late and work on my projects. Unfortunately I have what some people call a "job." Life sucks.
