Ok, OK!!! I just wanna learn C++, where did you learn it? :D

there's tutorials everywhere if you search for them, Sam's teach yourself c++ in 21 days is good enough.

I know, but they're either too "Microsoft-styled" (eg.: you need to keep checking the dictionaire for those weird words that are only used in speeches :) ) or they're too complex, like for C programmers or something.

I need one that is for people that have some experience in VB :p

Thanks kedaman, but I've looked for C++ books before and they all look like the resources MS "provides" in their website (unreadable for people like me with an extremely limited vocabulary in english :) )

Not only do the routines look good -- but you introduced me to VBworld (and vbforums) ... can't believe I didn't know about this place. I spend most of my posting time at VBexplorer & Lucky's VB Gaming site ... and, check the news at the Nexus.

I'm downloading your effects modules, though I don't know when I'll make use of them. I'm thinking the API-based one will come in handy more quickly than the DX ones -- just based upon my current projects.

Again -- just wanted to say "thanks" and "good work" ...
