a very good way to hide a file(s):
1) zip them with a password
2) rename them to a .sys file
3) rename the zip file to something important like winsystemconfig
4) put it in the windows folder
thats all you really need

I didn't read the all thread, but here is what I do:
I zip the whole thing and as the zip file is usually big (:rolleyes: ) I take a piece of the file and put it in a floppy disk that I carry with me or hide somewhere. This way I think it's impossible to open it as it's divided.
Seeing that floppy disks aren't the most reliable things in life, what happens if the stuff on the disk gets corrupt, you are stuffed !! i use magic folders now and i think that it is great :)
That's true, but as usually I don't have the patience to save a file in a floppy disk, I just divide the big file "randomily" (not really randomily) And I'm the only one that knows how to join the parts together.
