One thing that's nice about having fewer entries is that voting is easier. Fewer photos to choose your favorite 3 from. I found 9 that I especially liked and then one by one I eliminated 6.

Yes, sorry, too late for new entries. We do however do this twice a year in February and August. The number of photos submitted this time was fairly small and I mentioned above that I might not do it again but I'll think about it.
BTW you can still vote.

Yesterday I took this shot with my little Samsung Digimax 530. Maybe I'll enter it into the next contest if there is one. The little sliver of water that you see is the Salton Sea. Taken about 200 yards from my home.

I was planning to enter this contest but things didn't go as I expected. At least now I have my pictures back and I will enter the next contest.
I also wanted to participate but my camera was with my wife and she is in a different town :(

Please don't stop arranging these contests. Everyone here doesn't have good photography skills and is just the reason why the participation is so low. But they like the pics posted and appreciate them.
