a = &H002
then press Enter, that will be converted to
a = &H2

maybe according to your computer, but my wall clock disagrees. It doesn't have a "midnight" or "noon" display either but still somehow manages to convey the correct time.

Ah - I have just ventured down into our dungeon and unchained our pet VB programmer and he does indeed agree with you that the VB IDE does lop off the extra digits, however that doesn't change the matter that in C# it stays as 002. :)

Does your wall clock have AM and PM?
