I'll have a look, tomorrow. The copy seems to work
as you expected. The copy sheet is filled with the
data from the original sheet. But it stops at row
183.
There are 312 rows in the original sheet. So some-
thing is stalling the copy process, part-way through.
Is this what you needed to see?

ya that was what I wanted to see. that looks very good.
If soemthing stalls it at that row...have a look at the data in the original sheet too. might be an irregularity there. Those DB operations sometimes uncover data that has become corrupt and it might help to smoothen that out first.
The criterium with that "redundant" part... is that in a column of its own or part of some info column with more "around" it? And what is the name of the column that has it?
Today, excel crashed my HP Officejet K5400dtn.
It seems that certain files (which previously
didn't cause the printer to crash and burn) are
to blame. I.e. if I create a new workbook, add
some letters and figures to a worksheet, then
print - it's OK.
With this effort at VBA, have I unwittingly done
something (corrupted?) existing spreadsheet files?
Or, more correctly, do those files now load in some
odd way, because VBA and all the associated bits
are now installed, which weren't there when those
files were last used or created?
Printing the same files to the HP Laserjet 4L is no
problem. (Except no colour, of course)
What with a horrible Internet connection, then this,
maybe I should quit now and get an abacus, some
parchment and a carrier pigeon or two? :rolleyes:
you cant corrupt your Excel files by simply installing VBA.
Maybe your printer driver has gone bad and needs a reinstall?
Parchment is much too sensitive. I would suggest you get a slab of stone and a chisel ;)
The odd thing is that all other programs
tested so far, including graphics, print correctly to
the K5400. And, as some spreadsheets from excel
also print correctly, the mystery gets worse.
There's supposed to be an ISP tech coming to-
morrow, to see what the www connectivity
problems is. So, tomorrow could be a full day.
The problem is the same, with each modem
that I have, so it does look like an ISP network
NGN cabinet problem.
Maybe. The b******s will charge me if it isn't!
